Hello, After reviewing your design brief and preferences, here is the logo I came up with. I wanted it to be a clean customized wordmark that looked like vines, so that it can look great at any size. I am assuming with books and gifts, it is likely to be on small bags and other packaging. This was the main starting point for my design. I then included some leaves off of the vine-shaped text, as well as a subtle cross within it.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Thank you.
Here is a revised entry, still with the custom vine-inspired wordmark. This one has a gothic window included, per your initial request. Let me know what you think!
We are liking the addition of the window #22. Perhaps it would be better if the peak in the three arches came to a point, rather than rounded. We like the round window at the top with the cross in it. Some debate here on this end if the leaves add or distract. We do like the flowing nature of the lettering.
In the most recent review your #29 was the subject of much interest. Can the window shift to the right, balanced between the Y and the D rather than centered in the design. In addition can you fade slightly the window where it sits directly behind the Books & Gifts type.
Thanks so much for your active participation in our contest. As I mentioned in my post to all designers, I am waiting for the other team members to review all the designs. You are certainly one of our strongest contenders. We should have a decision by Thursday afternoon.
Congratulations, at this point you are the winning designer we are just trying to decide which of your entries won. Too much of a good thing....sigh. Any chance we can pick two of them? Excellent work.
