We think you're really on to something here; and a few of the people on the development team are pushing to get you into the top 5 for the next phase. We really appreciate showing us the black/white backspace options on these designs as well!
The only thing really holding back on this is that the logo could cause confusion with people as it looks like it's "VV" (double V's) instead of "VA" because we do go by "VAStudios" when our name is needed to be shortened.
The 'arrowhead' look of #16 and #15 are great and were well liked over #18 and #17. The colors are flopped around, however... as the 'Vigilant' part of our name represents 'Good' (Grey/White) and the 'Addiction' part is to represent 'Evil' (Red). What you did with 'Studios' is very nice and we like how you stacked the text!
