The development team liked to see the direction you took with the 'VA' and that you recognized our desire to have that White/Grey Vs. Red look between 'Vigilant' and 'Addiction' in #22. The small 'swooshes' was a very well done detail!

Same goes for #23 - However it was lacking that Grey/Red (Good Vs. Evil) natural feeling we want the logo to give off. We do like that color as potentially that 3rd color to go along with the Grey and Red!

Thanks for the submissions!

#53 - Very attractive design! A few comments wanted to see the red and 'silver?' (which is cool!) colors swap on the border around the "VA" so that the silver was coming out the 'top left' of the V and the red was coming out of the bottom-right of the A. We had 50/50 comments back and forth on that, haha. Overall, excellent! The 'Studios' underneath is slightly hard to see in a Thumbnail... but that's about all. Very impressive!

#52 That's a very well done improvement from #23! The only downside is that it doesn't feature our full studio name; Vigilant Addiction, however we can all understand how a logo of that nature (#52) would easily come handy.

Thanks for the submissions!

Here it is with the border colors reversed, and #23/#53 are the "condensed, minimal" versions of the logo :)

Thanks!

#55 - I can tell everyone will like how 'Studio' pop out as well now. However seeing the swap of the colors, I personally think the original #53 is better (good job!), but I'll wait to see what the team members say that were requesting a look.

Thanks again! Excellent work!

Comments coming in today from the team on these submissions (and other ones) are about trying to move away from that "Pokemon" look/feel. It might be the texture on the logo/fonts and such, but a bulk of the comments from the team were about wanting to see something either "Less Shiny" or more "Flattened and Sharp". #55 / #53

I think it's just coming down to the detail of the texture; and any other ideas/adjustments that you might want to make in consideration of other submissions. As I hear more from people as they come online today, I'll let you know!

#103 is flat colors, and #104 has a very subtle gradient :)

#103 is what everyone likes so far, out of the submissions. Here's a few comments from various team members:

-"Would like to see variations in the main logo; more garnish."
-"Does the logo have to be framed? Maybe something other than the rectangular border around the VA?"
-"Other color accents? I saw a few others with Golds and Blues mixed in there that, surprisingly, looked pretty sweet."

#109 and #110 are different borders, and #111 - #115 experimenting with different colors :)

You've made pretty much everyone 'LOL' after all those new submissions and color variants; "Oh you want colors?!"

Great stuff! I'm constantly getting emails/pings about all the current logos/changes. I'll let you know if I have any more feedback this evening.

Latest comments tonight are blown away from the Logo Design itself; people can't decide between the 'Circle' or 'Oval' one, which is great! The colors are amazing, as it's possible we might go to different colors depending on the game/theme/etc, so that's got you a ahead.

We're trying to resort the list tonight before we all head out.

Looks like the only other thing that could make a difference would be variations on the 'Swoops' on the V A part (just two comments on those), and some text/type options on the font for Vigilant Addiction.

It's looking like it'll come down to a battle with Daniel! Excellent works and we're looking forward to seeing what happens tomorrow!

#126 - #129 has a couple of different font styles, along with the VA both with and without the tapering tails :)

Everyone still seems to vote/comment that your top submission is #110 in the contest.

Comments today are that they would like to see how you can make the name "Vigilant Addiction" pop more than the Logo does, currently. It seems that most of the development team sees the Logo First, and the Name Second (which isn't exactly bad) so they'd like to see something of the same nature but where the name is popping out more than the logo. (If that makes sense)

#137 & #103 comes close with the font/style; but perhaps that's what they're looking for, as that style hasn't seemed to change must in the revisions. #53 goes a little too extreme I think, on the white. Perhaps there's something else that can give it that depth?

As always; thanks for your submissions and working hard on our, potentially, future logo!

I have to modify that design as another designer is claiming the concept of "circle coming from the letter v to the letter a". while a circle coming from the V was done previous to theirs, i do not wish to drag this conflict out any further. i will have to make the swooshes smaller.

Understood - Perhaps to help your case; it's technically not coming out of the 'V' or 'A' but in dead-space between, haha. (If it's the one I think it is that might be objecting)

Either way; we're always interested in what you submit and will be looking for the changes.

#156 - I think I see the direction you're trying to take things; as the effect almost comes off 3D'ish for even the future possibility of us animating the logo. The problem was it giving of that 'Old School 90's 3D' vibe to us (like Terminator 2)... we're Geeks so maybe that's half the problem.

Although, the original "VA" logo is probably good with the Flat/Smooth texturing, but perhaps there's a way to work with those "Swooches" that had to be changed to make them be more of the metallic/grabbing part of the design. It seems like that's the direction you're going with this revision?

How about something along the lines of a 'Devilish' tail (Red) and 'Angelic Ray' (or something? like sun-ray?) in place of the swooshes in the respective locations. It would pull things back around to our original meaning of "Good Vs. Evil" as a Studio meaning.

#163 - I have requests to see this one without the 'tails' on the V and A; and also two people of our team that wants to see the inner "VA" look something like this "//" with just very, very small ticks outward to make them look like V's and A's (if that makes sense)

#158 High volume of requests to see this one in a lighter/bright color for the White/Grey like in other revisions (#150 / #142)

OK, I'll have those changes up soon, thanks :)

#166 - #169 has the hexagon designs changes (if i interpreted it correctly), one with very small "ticks" on the outside, and another with // in the center.
#170 and #171 have the rounded rectangle in the lighter grey.

sorry for the extra hexagons, I chose the wrong pantone color for the red on the previous ones
