Thanks for giving it another try but this second one doesn't strike me as a fit, either. Can you try a wordmark style?

#228 & #229 are out -- in my brief I noted that I didn't want to use an eye to represent vision.

#227 -- I kinda like that for a wordmark, but not as much as I like other designs ranked higher.

#234 - looks too much like two X's. I think there would have to be more contrast between the colors of the two V's and it's a little too simplistic.
