Entries 9 and 10 -- this is a very strong, dynamic design that does a great job of suggesting power, motion, and excitement. We gather that the two versions are simply to show how the logo would look against both a light and a dark background. We would like to see it in different color combinations that add more of a classy touch of quality and excellence to the mix. Outstanding work; thanks for submitting.
Entries 13 and 14 -- We do not like the single color versions as well as the multicolor ones, though they might be useful under some circumstances. We do like the more 3-dimensional quality of these versions. Perhaps you could add that to entries 9 and 10.
We like #20 the best. We prefer the lettering to be dark against a light background rather than the reverse as in 13, 14, and 19. Now we would like to see #20 in different sets of colors.
We like the new color options. We are not tied to a specific set of colors and may want to use our logo in different colors at different times and places. We think the checkers on the flag should be black and white regardless of what the other colors in the design are. we would like to see 34, 35, 36, and 37 with the black and white reversed.
We would also like to see a version of the design with the word "Hobbies out to the right instead of at the bottom. This would give us a version we could use in a longer, flatter space, which would be very helpful in fitting it into various places. Thanks for your efforts.
FYI: I have ranked one of each of your distinct designs in the top part of the rankings and then put all the color variations down at the bottom in no particular order. This is just for the sake of simplicity. We like many of the different colors.
#s 42 and 43 -- we like this version of the logo, as it will enable us to put it in places where the original configuration, as in #34, would not fit. if we end up choosing your logo we might want more than one variation of it and will discuss that with you at the appropriate time.
For now, can you do a version that is the same as #34 but has the word "Hobbies" immediately to the right of the word "Lap" and in the same font and size?
We would still like you to submit a logo using our concept of the vertical element of one of the letters in "Victory Lap" having the arm and hand of a firesuited driver coming out of the end of it. We really like your colors and general style of your logo designs but want to see this element incorporated into the design. You don't have to worry about copying another designer, as the idea came from us to begin with.
Hi 3Wards Thank you for more feedback and guidance, i will try your concept and submit a.s.a.p. Was the "L" become the arm on "Lap" also your idea? or Arthaurus started it first?
Our idea was to use the vertical stripe of any of the letters that have one as the flag staff. Arttaurus came up with using the L for the purpose with the arm bent at the elbow to make the L. We really like your colors and the overall look of your design. Please try to keep as much of that look as possible.
Hi 3Wards, I believe Arttaurus is starting using all of my design element in his newer entries, the colors, the finishing and all effect in his design just stolen from mine. I have to ask him to withdraw his new ones.
We like your designs #s83 and 86. The colors are not the main issue with us. Once we have selected a winning design we will most likely use it in a number of widely varying colors depending on the background color and other factors. We would appreciate it if you could combine the design of #83 with the color scheme of #86. Also, could you add to both the revised #83 and to #86 the word "Hobbies" in the same size and style of lettering as a separate element that can be moved in relation to the main logo or not used at all depending on the shape of the space we are using the logo in?
Wednesday, June 18 -- We want to let everybody know we have been out of communication since Monday due to an Internet service failure. Now that our service is restored we will get on with the judging phase of the contest.
