#10 Understand the blue surrounding the hotter "Bla" but probably not workable as a logo. Maybe with a vertical orientation with the cool blue keeping the red hot colors from climbing up the letters?
Fire wants to move upward, and D-Blaze prevents that natural progression.
#18 has potential. I like the D reversed out. Sometimes the "D" is tough to identify as the letter D. The choice of font makes a big difference. Your fonts make me think of high-tech, whereas this is for a basic piece of construction lumber/plywood, albeit treated with chemicals. Try a square and blocky font in all caps?
The color transition from cool to warm is well done. I'd like to see that type range in black to gray to red, from the bottom up.
#42 Like the BLAZE, and like the tagline, esp. the varied colors in it.
The "D" has the different elements we need such as resisting fire, but it seems too separated from the rest. I like the subdued use of flame at the lower edge. Maybe if the D were in a wood grain, or just black, as if it had already been charred but wasn't burning. I think we have to get the transition "into" the D, instead of "around" the D in the square background panel.
