Thoughts from the first four entries - We like the use of the tagline in #3, the symbolism of the shield, and the use of blue, which works surprisingly well. We are currently undecided regarding the use of the tagline in the logo. Entry #4 may overtake #3, we like the simplicity and elegance of the minimalist approach and the recognizability of the symbol if used without the text. We are pondering if #4 conveys "secure"? Regarding entries #1 and #2 - I think we are talking ourselves out of red, especially a bold, aggressive red.

Some general feedback... multiple people have said the shield is overused in software for anti-virus and anti-spam software. Another reason we're strongly leaning toward entry #4 now.

Hi All. We extended contest by two days because it was going to end on a holiday (non-business day). This is the first contest we've run, can anyone explain what happens at the end. Will there be time to make a final decision or does the ranking at end of contest get locked in? Thank you. We appreciate everyone's efforts and the results have been incredible. Making a final decision is going to be very challenging.

If contest ends, it goes into judging mode, you have all the time you need to pick and chose your final winner. During judging mode, only number #1 ranked entry can submit changes requested, so in that case you can shift different designers to #1 if you requested them to submit certain changes during the judging mode.

Once you decided which one is the final winning entry, do a final re-ranking, putting the one you chosen as #1 and then end the contest to start receiving its file

Another question from a first-timer perspective. Regarding awards and stats, what does shortlist mean specifically? Does it mean that a logo was ranked, as opposed to rated "non-interesting," even though not under consideration? Or, does it mean ranked within a certain number, like 1 - 10 or something? Thanks in advance for any insights.

The ranking system here is designed to give awarding points to designers participation that helps towards there general ranking on this site only.

Therefore, from 1 - 10 get points that vary depending on the rank, but only #1 gets the money because it is the winner chosen logo.

Hi All. We really appreciate everyone's creativity and efforts. We are surprised (in a very good way) by the great field of options presented here. It will be hard to pick just one. We will be running additional logo tournaments in coming days and we invite all of you to please continue to work with us.
