Thanks for the great designs! A couple comments:
1) The font I really like is called- Sofachrome (I'm thinking all caps)
2) We are expecting to use the "icon" by itself also. Like on hard hats, etc.
3) Must still look good in mono, for screen printing crew shirts etc.
4) So far I really like the Orange with the Gray.
5) I like when "construction" is spaced out to match the width.
6) Must look good on both black & white backgrounds.
7) Try a turbine "Hub & Blades" icon with radiation from the center, and a little spin effect. Might look good.

Great designs! We are getting them nailed down. A few more comments:

1) I really like the 3 color combos: Orange, Gray, Black/White (depending on the background)
2) Abstract Icon's seem to be what we are leaning towards
3) Sold on the Sofachrome font

I think the simpler ones are better, it has to stand the test of time, and the negative spaces in the icon work well if we have to screen print it in black only. I really like something like #211 with a little more effects and color tied to the letters
