Just had a thought on #38, What if the barcode was a cork and the cork screw was shown going into it? The screw inside the cork could either be hidden or not.
Excellent work on #43 - Lets get it to do double duty. Extent the handle up a bit so we can see the cork screw projecting out the top and change the inside to be the two line warning "Don't drink and walk on the road, you may be killed" or "Alcohol reduces driving ability, don't drink and drive" Remember this has to be black lettering on white background. Very creative on #45 - but... not so sure. #44 I also like.
Overall, I'm still having difficulty with the vertical versus horizontal design thing. I'm mocking up back labels to see what works.
#50,#49, #48 well done. Thanks, for the colour variations, but I am not sure. Every new colour makes the labels more expensive. Ours currently has Black, Gold, and White. The burgundy you picked up is supposed to represent the wine in the bottle. No changes required though. I have a good idea of how #50 could be tweaked if it is the winning design. On second thought, I can't rank the new designs high as the addition of the red colour will get everyone moving in this direction, if you don't mind, redo at least #50 in black and will rank.
Another reason I like #40, it is one of the first to actually incorporate the bar code lines into the design as opposed to just dropping graphics onto the barcode.
We have to walk a fine line between balancing the requirement warning and freaking people out. Keep on the light and artistic side. Thanks for the new entries.
If #91 is the winner, I'll ask you to get the barcode image correct and then reverse the rest. This is fine for now. Last modification request. on #90 use the gold color from my label instead of red. Take the outer lines in the bar code and extend them up and over to frame the image. ________________________ | | | |
Could I see #90 in gold instead of red? Also fill the sun in so we get a nice gold sun. CAJ I'm going to rank you 1st so that you can make the change I suggested. I'll leave you in that position for one day.
OK. Don't worry. I won't finish judging until I have talked with everyone. At some point, I will rank you first and give you an opportunity to make the changes I suggested. Thanks.
