Thanks.Yellow stars would display great on darker background. Are you set on white background for your advertising? For some reason I dont think they should be orange they look somewhat expired...

Hi manner, black is not really an option for the background. I´m not quite sure if you are familiar with the amazon ranking system, but the 5 ranking stars are well known in yellow/golden color. user immediately understands, what it means. If you change the color, it requires some more fantasy. On the other hand: I understand your concern. In amazon a better contrast is achieved with using a thin outline.

#52: since we will use logo especially in B-to-B communication, we Need White Background (writings, letters, contracts, Business Cards etc)

Hi manner, I like the really unique idea of the windcone in #103. The Integration is not completely convincing, it Looks too much like not belonging to the logo, more like simply attached to the writing. I think a more stylised Approach could work better

#103: sorry, forgotten to explain: the windcone is a wonderful Symbol to express that we try to find and sell trendy products, that we "head with the wind".

me again: thought about a Version, where the word "Ven" (including half of the letter "T" is written in red and the windcone is somehow symbolized above this word. Trade is written in Gold/yellow and the stars are underneath.

Let me draw few things and as soon as I have it digitized I will upload it.

Hi Manner, the windcone still is a wonderful element and the ntegration as it is now is good. Get´s a lot of acceptance with my colleagues. So let´s keep this element.

Weakness/to be improved:
the gold tone is too pale, does not have enough contrast. Maybe you go into a darker yellow orange (pls have a look at the Amazon stars). The stars also should be positioned under the word "TRADE"

Another issue is the font. I´ sorry to say, but it is "commonly", boring. Pls have a look at the font of the logo of our mother company "digame" --> www.digame.de. This is a very special, unique writing, but still easy readable. I do not ask you to copy it, it´s just an example how the writing itself becomes a unique part of the logo and not simply an ordinary public true type font which can be copied easily.

And although the idea is good, the joint characters "N+T" make the logo/the Company Name unreadable. The Name still must stay readable also for People that do not know the Company already.

To help you regarding font: Space BD BT would be a really good basis to start.

I will focus on changes on color and font treatment choosing few different fonts and customizing them to make them somehow original. Actually that's why I chose that rounded font to make smooth and legible connection between N&T but I understand you want this to be even easier to read. It's different from digame but it resembles style from www.twister.nl... Will have something in few hours.

Great. Believe me: digame was developed independently from TWISTER logo. Twister is the mother Company of digame and of VenTrade. Twister has/had several daughter companies, all named like specific wind. This is why VenTrade contains the word "Vento" (and Twister by the way is lokated in Venlo, a City in Holland). But the TWISTER logo is a really bad example. So please Keep away from that....
When the duigame logo was developed, the Basis was the font named Bauhaus. But the designer changed it significantly. He integrated These speech bubble like inner fields to express, that we are a communication Company.
It would be great, if you could come out with a also unique, expressive writing which is not simply a Standard font. Thanx in advance for your efforts

#146 and 147 with "Exo" font with counters of letters shaped as Vs instead of Os.

150-154 with other variations. (excluding 151)

And also #155. However fonts like this usually are perfect and it's hard to modify them unless it's only 1 letter.

ok, got it. I also can try to do the rebriefing verbally but I fear, due to my limited English skills, this will take more time than necessary or will not be precise enough. But let me try:
a) the stars: please try to draw the stars more or less exactly (shape, gap between each other) like the ranking stars of Amazon. I think this will not violate anyone´s IPR since this kind of a symbol is not protectable. The Amazon rating stars stand closer to each other and they also look "fatter". We would apreciate to see a proposal a with and one without a small outline. But stay with your color as it is right now (not the Amazon Color).
b) The letter "V" of #154 is not optimal. The "V" of #155 is way better. We like that it stands more narrow and has a round lower end. Would begreat, if you can adopt that.
c) Integration of windcone: after exchanging the "V", please try to integrate the windcone similar to #147. This creates a strong unit of Icon and character.
d) the small Corners in characters "V", "n", "T", "r" can be removed.

By the way: the iner part of e.g. the character "e" and also "a" reminds us somehow on the Silhouette of the windcone. So aprreciated, that this theme is picked up in the writing.

I will make these changes tomorrow afternoon and present it to you and your team. BTW imo your Eng is very good:) I'm from Europe myself living in sunny California...

hi manner, we are almost there. Is it possible to make the left bar/part of the "V" a little bit longer than the right one? Maybe the windcone has to move up a little bit.
By the way: is the central axis of the windcone completely horizontal? That would be nice.
And finally it would be great if you could try one version with a little gradient in the writing to get some more depth (comparable to the digame logo).
I think it is worth trying. Looks as if your proposal is clear in front.

Hello, If the client needs to provide specific drawings or other direction those can be uploaded to the brief area or a hosting site like tinypic can be used for a temporary file.

spoke to my colleagues, the gradient of the word "Ven" in #160 is fine, the Gradient of "Trade" starts too light in the upper part of the logo. If you could try to start darker (with the actual orange) and then get darker to the bottom, would be worth trying.
