Vela is an investment management company focused on preserving and growing partner capital.

I like blue, black, grey and green (not all color need to be used together, but these are the colors that I would prefer). I plan to use a white background for business cards and my presentation materials

Some thing simple and easy to read. Vela is a constellation in the southern sky. Its name is Latin for the sails of a ship, and it was originally part of a larger constellation, the ship Argo Navis. So maybe the logo incorporates a sail.
