Located in Columbia, MO in the Mid-West.
Many of the clients are professionals, from 35-80 years old. They are respected members of the community, educated, middle to upper class citizens.

Navy, Greys, Dark Teal, Egg Plant or Maroon. Colors you'd see in a set of Bold Crayola markers.
Would like to see a combination of two colors for the designs, could be two colors or a color and a neutral like grey or black.
Stay away bright warm colors - gold, red, orange. Not primary colors. No brown.

For our icon we're looking for letter art using the letters "V" and "M" from Van Matre. Sort of like a crest or a brand. We like both reversed out icons on a colored background but also like the icons that are just letters without a containing shape or background.

We're not opposed to the letters creating an object but we don't have an object in mind and don't want something unrecognizable.

We want a font that isn't too trendy but we don't want an old stuffy font either. Please no Copperplate or Times New Roman. We like both serifs and san-serifs and need to appear professional and not dated.
