Drawing on your design brief, I've gone with a very clean, polished, yet approachable wordmark and added a single accent colour both for visual interest but also to lend emphasis to the YOU in fashion. The mark is gender-neutral, pointed in its message and scales very well to any size. It is designed with print application in mind too using Pantone colours which have very close equivalents in RGB (web) colours for uniformity. And of course, we can easily adapt it to any seasonal or promotional colourway. Your feedback is most welcome... Regards, Steve.
#10 - Thanks for your design. I love the simplicity, yet elegance of the logo. Very interesting take you the 'u'. I'm not sure if the colour and concept fits into the website design but it may grow on me. I would really like it if you could put a few more together when you get the chance as your very much on the right track with the clean, polished approach.
...the same wordmark in an enclosure that suggests that Vamure has something valuable to say to the reader. The enclosure also tends to objectify the word/name and lend importance thereby. And it allows the opportunity for more colour without compromising the otherwise clean look. I'm not altogether sold on the single colour grey (the right accent colour is always a strong feature of good graphic design) yet I entirely understand if orange is not quite what you had in mind as the primary colour and I'm here to try whatever colourway you might like to see.
#14 - In order to work with the site the major colour needs to be a dark grey. I have kept your previous design as I dont mind a little bit of contrast and it is still growing on me. I also want the focus to be on the word so the major element design needs to be how the word is represented and stylised.
...revised wordmark - no serifs but with added modifications to provide a similar 'feel' as well as a nice rhythm from letter-to-letter. Also, I've shifted the position of the V and made it a bit larger, added a slight gradient (which will not only display well on screen but will print nicely too), and of course, there's the accent colour placed over the letter U...overall very clean, fresh, versatile, readable at-a-glance, and haute couture...
Thanks for all your work on this design! You're #118 design has been getting great reviews from my friends! Every day it grows on me.
I'm thinking strongly about having the slogan "fashion online" in my logo. Could you please apply this to your #118 design so I can see how you would adapt this into your design.
There are, of course, many different ways to work the tagline but I like this one because it further plays into the pun around the letter U. It could possibly be the same accent colour...
Is it possible to provide a few of your alternatives. The feedback that I have received so far is that the 'fashion online' is a little small and gets lost. While I agree that this may be the better way I would love to see some alternative so I can decide whether or not I agree.
If it is not too much trouble it would be much appreciated.
Could you also provide a version in the matching accent colour. I would be interested to see how this looks.
This one has a nifty little "ah-ha" surprise about it - it reads so readily/easily the way it's supposed to yet, on second glance, the viewer notices the little typographic trick. That second look creates viewer interaction and thereby viewer investment too.
#234 - I like the size and layout of 'fashion online' the most in this one. Could you please use this 'fashion online' and apply it in both colours (green and gray) to the other 'vamure' design with the 'u' and 'r' seperated.
I do in fact have some 11th hour changes if you have the time.
I really like how one of the designers has actually put 'your fashion online' into the slogan and a spin on the 'ur'. I think you emphasise this with the green line but is it possible to see how 'your' would fit into the slogan in your design?
This would be great if it can be done in time so I could see how it would look.
