What We Do
Business valuation data, software and research. We need TWO logos, one for ValuSource and one for KeyValueData. They should look like the they are from the same "family", the logos can be exact except for the actual company name (i.e. the text ValuSource and KeyValueData.

Color Preferences
I'm open, but it needs to look professional, not cute. It needs to match our sites (see links on the next question). It does NOT need to be the same colors as our current logos, but it DOES need to look good on these sites. Be creative!
Our Ideas & Additional Information
It needs to go with our web sites: www.keyvaluedata.com and www.vswebapp.com. We need BOTH logos (i.e. ValuSoruce and KeyValueData) that need to match (like our current ValuSource and KeyValueData logos on the above sites). The logos should look very similar and possibly exact (except for the name of the company) but they don't need to be exact. KeyValueData is owned by ValuSource.

For images #1 and #2: These are too simple, I need an image / visual to go with the text. Dark blue would be a better color than green. I like how the two logos are related, that works.

We do NOT want to use images that are similiar to our current image (ie triangles/primids) because we have a trademark problems with that logo. (ie designs 8, 11, 12, 13 have images that will not work). Using the "V" in a creative way does work.

Design 9 and 10 have images that don't look professional enough. (the key and lock).

Design 16 has a image that is too close to our current one to avoid trademark problems. No triangles please. Once again using the V works if it does not get close to our current image.

Design 17 and 18 have a dark blue background, which makes it too hard to integrate into web/print media. A logo on a white back ground is better.

I like the theme of #141- 145, 166 ad 167 but the V needs to look more like a "V" you see on an investment banking bulding. These "V"s are too much on the creative side. Designs that show more of the planet are better. I like the 3D look of the Vs.

like the concept (#160) of the "V" on the globe, but it needs to look more concervative. This looks too hitech.

Clearly the Globe and "V" is working, I'd like to see other variations on that theme.

Do you want:
1 Flat colors
2 V to look like a font or a V shaped execution - the V as a font above the globe might not bring too much value the design as it may look way too overused.
3 Do you like more "geometrical" shapes?
4 Any reference to pyramid?
