I really like this design. It's clean & simple while still keeping all the elements I've asked for. I think I like the cleaner look of the logo without the frame. I do like the 2nd color under the purple line on the framed version, but I wonder if that would look good in a gold color instead of green.
I also really like that I can have my name in the logo, or take it out and have it separate. Is there any way my name can stand out just a bit more? Maybe be a little larger or bolder? My first name is very unique, so I don't even mind if my first name is larger and my last name is smaller.
I really like the stars in #57, can you put them in the shape of the big dipper? There's a picture of the Alaska State Flag on my website I posted in my comments & my brief. It's on the About Alaska page...I think it would be nice if the stars were in that formation. Thanks!
I like the attempt you made with the stars & rainbow, but I don't think they quite work. Can you try making my name gold instead of white? And the design is really pretty, but it feels kind of cold. I don't know if you can put a little sunrise or sunset glow on the mountains, in the sky or in the water to make it a little warmer without making it too complex. Maybe doing my name in a warmer gold color with a little more orange would help.
Hello. I'd like to see #68 and #70 without the stars, and with my name in the same gold/orange tone as the underline. #69 is warm, but I think the orange is a little too strong.
I really like the look of #73, but for some reason my name isn't standing out. It seems to be kind of fading into the background. I'd love you to try to make that stand out a bit more.
I'd like to ask you to try something different. I had mentioned in my main comments that I'd like someone to try a logo around my slogan, and you're the only one that has put any design elements into the slogan. What I'd like to see is something where the Alaska in my slogan has snow capped mountains as the A's. I think it might look interesting to use the 1st and last A as the mountains, and keep the middle A as the house like you currently have it. Then maybe do something with a fly rod and fish around or next to the slogan, or use it to separate my name and the slogan.
#79--I really love the concept. Let's play around with it a little. I'm not sure I like the way the mountain A's are done. What if you made the top half like a snowy peak instead of having the mountain on the side? It could be snow down to the line in the A, with the rest being the mountain base. And put my name on top and not as spread out, more like #78.
Okay, I really love the concept, but somehow the mountain just isn't quite right. I don't think I want a blue background, because I want to be able to put this logo on items without needing a background. What I was sort of thinking is to have the A outlined in the blue color, but instead of a straight line across the middle, maybe make it a little curved like a snow line and have that open part be white like snow. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, but instead of snow on top I was thinking of snow inside the top part of the A outline.
I do like the fish in the middle like #83, but again the blue background and the mountain aren't quite there.
I'd also like to see a version where my name is across the top, then the fly rod is horizontal like an underline, then my slogan with the snow capped mountain A's. That way my name and "Your Guide to" could both be larger.
I like the way my name & Your Guide to stand out in #102 & #103. I think #103 has a cleaner look, but I don't think the snow in the curved part of the A quite works. I'm also not quite sure how to put a fly rod or fish in this particular logo...I don't think it works in #102. Can it go beneath the logo? Maybe a fish somewhere on the side or above Alaska? I don't know.
My original thought for the A to look more like a mountain was to have an upside down V with a squiggle (kind of a sideways S) toward the bottom across to make the A, and that would make it a mountain. I'm not sure if this makes sense.
Another thought is to maybe have the A's be larger than the rest, with a simple black line drawing of a mountain range where the A's are larger peaks?
I really like the concept of what you've been working on (#104, #83), but the mountain idea just doesn't seem to quite be there. Can you just make an A, but have the cross bar be curved like a sideways S, and fill in a little with color under the bar so it looks like a mountain with a snowy peak? Not quite sure how to describe it, but it's just not quite working yet.
Hi there. Thank you for the new designs. I like the idea, but I think it would be better with 1 house instead of 2, and without a fence. I think I like #148 a little better...some trees, but not too complicated.
I want to say your designs are beautiful, but some of them remind me more of a picture or a beautiful postage stamp instead of a logo. I'm not sure which way I'm going to go yet. I really appreciate all your efforts.
Right now I'm ranking similar logos together so I can compare them. I haven't figured out final rankings yet.
I think #183 is your best logo yet! I wish this had come in a little sooner so we could work through it more. How would it look without the moon (or sun, whichever that is)?
