Hello Keegan, I hate to admit that I didn't see the VQ. I'm glad your comment mentioned it. That is interesting, I will need to think some more on this. Thanks, Daryl
You are correct, visible but not too cheesy, That's a good way to put. I came back to the comments to mention two things; the first you already hit on and that's I would like it more serious with the font. The second thing is (and I hope it doesn't mess you up) the green. I am not too fond of green and IF possible to stay with two colors. Thanks for your hard work! Daryl
It seems that the VQ is too subtle for most people to see. I think that you may be on to something using the blue line around the "Q like on Logo #102 but the "V" is even more subtle. Maybe if you made the blue line circle a bit thicker and some kind of a fairly thin blue outline on the tree, not the branches, just the "V". See what you can do with it. Thank YOU for your hard work! Daryl
Hello Keegan, I think it could just be my eyes. On #119 two things, IF it can be done without messing up the current one. For me, for some reason the orange "Quest" could show up better? The only other "maybe" the the .com is a little hard to see on the smaller logos, for an example on business cards. BUT, I like the VacationQuest font and I think to make the .com easier to see would require the VacationQuest to be taller.
I guess what I am trying to ask is: Could the VacationQuest be a little taller, the QUEST orange brighter or darker and the .com a little more visible? Sorry to change anything because I LOVE IT! I never though that a logo pass the now ranked number 2. Thank you VERY MUCH! Great job! Daryl
I think you're right. the vertical com has that issue. I will try to make several variation. feel free to ask any revision that is necesarry. honestly if you get the perfect logo, that will be additional satisfaction for me as designer/creative people. We provide design SERVICE. when client like our service, we feel that we haev done our job and that make us happy too.
pelase wait for the revision in less than 10 minutes.
I uploaded 6 minor adjustments: I improve the kerning of all text character, put .com on side and also .. #143 = tighten swoosh line below the tree, darker orange #144 = same as 143 but with previous orange #145 = make more distance between tree and swoosh, darker orange #146 = same as 145 but with previous orange #147 = bolder font #148 = same as 147 but with previous orange
Very nice! Oh, BTW, the web designer really likes your work! It is getting hard to tell. OK, so #148 the font is bolder and the same orange as the previous Number 1. Right? If so and I and truly hope this is the last revision. The "Q" that is next to the palm tree, I love the way that the "tail" goes through the letter from the right side all the way to the left side of the "Q". Can you make the "Q" in Quest to have a "Q" like the "Q" in the "VQ"? Thanks, Daryl
Keegan, Thank you for putting up with me through all this. It is VERY important to me! Great job! We have a winter! It is #149 - Get some sleep! Thank YOU, Daryl
Hello Keegan, I thought that I selected you #149 as the winner. About 6 hours ago I received another email from Logo Tournament that I had "some amount of hours" to pick the winner. I'd go to the help section to see what I do now. I'll read over the "wrap-up phase. I LOVE the logo. I really did prefer the ".com" vertical after the "t" in Quest. But, I agree on smaller applications, it will just be a blur. I also wanted to see about other possible projects, totally different than the logo. BUT, I don't want to get me or you in trouble with Logo Tournament. Thanks Again, Daryl
Client can pick final logo anytime, even in early phase. It's up to you. we can discuss other project later after you select my design as winner :) that's the rule.
