Hi, thanx for your confidence in me. Uploaded symbol with text "US BIRDS". I used a modern, simple and clean font that works great with bird symbol. Let me know if you like it, Thanx a lot.
I am in your hands a bit with regard to how the text is done. Basically, it needs to be just "US BIRDS" so that the logo can be used as the banner in the app stores for iOS and Android apps.
Hi. I think this comes out ahead of the others. If we can now get the US BIRDS text along side it to the right of the bird image, then I think we have a winner. Thanks for working with me on this project.
No stress. We have a few days left in the process. Feedback from the others helping with the selection process is that the original bird you did with the Gaia Guide logo was better than the one with the beak turned down. My error on that one.
I like that more. Is it possible to reduce the thickness of the wing a little? Also, can we try to make the greenish blue line at the top of the head more of a stronger green colour?
I really like the wings and tail. The idea that the beak points down was a bad one I think. It makes the beak look bent at a strange angle. With the beak placement, I am trying to ensure that the launch icon for the app looks balanced and not too empty but I do not want to clutter it with other stuff like flowers. I am not sure of the answer but maybe the beak could be drawn so that it feels as though the head is slightly turned out toward the viewer. If you have thoughts on what might work let me know. Otherwise, I will talk to a few others and see if they have useful input. Thanks again for doing this.
Apologies for being so demanding but is there any chance of trying out the idea below? Let me know if it does not make sense.
The way the pink line forms the underside of the beak disturbs me a little. Many of the more colourful male hummingbirds have bright throat patches, perhaps the blue of the head could extend down the front to form the throat patch, darkening as it goes down the chest and so eliminating the false mouth look on the bottom of the beak.
I like the new design. It captures the features I liked in the designs for the previous contest and adapts them to the new requirements quite well.

I am not sure how feasible it is, but I also really liked the flare-out of the tail in the version you designed for the previous contest. It would be good to have a version that remained closer to that version with the two wings and the flared out tail, but with the beak pointing down at a steeper angle rather than resting along the top of the logo text.
