I REALLY like the logo you submitted! It's much more along the lines of what I'm wanting than the other logos that have been submitted so far. It's clean, modern and elegant. I would really like to see some variations of it. Like, what would it look like with with a bit of brown color? And can we try some different fonts and sizes for the "solutions"? Thanks so much for your submission.
Ahhh! Well, I like different things about each of them.
For the first one (#7) -
I like: * the font & color you used for "Urban Garden" * the color you used for the word "solutions" * how you vary the font weight of each word * the colors you used * the vertical alignment of having the picture on top I don't really care for: * the font and font size for the word "solutions" -- too small and harder to read
For the second one (#21): I like: * the gradiant/3-D effect you added to the pictorial part of the logo. * the slogan you added. I don't really care for: * the brown color now that I see it * the font for "Urban Garden Solutions" * although I like the slogan added, it does force "UrbanGardenSolutions" to be all on one line, which makes it pretty long. Not really sure how to get the slogan in there without making it all too much??
So given what I've outlined, can we make a 3rd variation by combining all of my "likes" and eliminating all of the "dislikes" to see what materializes??
Beautiful zhao! You're right on the money with my feedback. I'm lovin' it. :)
Just 3 things: * Can you make the green color in the word "solutions" just a shade darker * the word "gardener" in the slogan is misspelled. * Also, I know you probably made the slogan color really light so it would kinda sit in the background and not make the logo appear too busy, but can we darken it just a shade? It's not as readable as I'd like it to be on a white background.
Other than those 3 things, I'm really happy about what I'm seeing! Thanks for the hard work zhao.
Oh, I meant to ask you. I've been showing people my contest entries and one question that 3 people have asked me so far is, what is the gray part of the logo meant to represent? Those people had three different ideas of what it meant to them: An abstraction of a building, a planter, and a "U". Just wondering what it meant to you.
Here is the amended version for your review.. pardon for the misspelled word ;p Wow, thanks for sharing their thoughts on the gray part! It was inspire by the word 'space' in the slogan :)
I like the revised pictorial you did in #41 and the glossier 3-D effect and it's now my #1. However, I'd like to see a couple of things different about it.
* Let's go back to the font used for all words as in #42. * Darken the color of the slogan just a shade so it's a bit more readable on a light background. * I like the reflection of the picture, but I'd like to see what it looks like with a shadow instead.
