Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

#27 I like your design, but the chicken itself looks too rooster-like (needs to be a female chicken as roosters are illegal in most cities)

overall, would like to see designs that incorporate the "urban" part of "urban chickens," too. I like the clever use of a scarf in #13 to show these aren't just barnyard animals.

#30 I like the modern look of the stylized chicken icon (versus the more classic look of #27)
#28 I like the city buildings you've incorporated into the design to show the "urban" aspect
#36 I like the lighter sky color and the structures you added to differentiate from #20
#31 I like the mascot/character you pulled out of #1 for this new treatment
#11 I like your character, too, but not so much the font of the name

Such a shame that all those designs were lost due to the Logo Court ruling, but I'm glad to see the system's working to keep out pirated images.

Hi Thomas,

I had no clue the image was pirated. I had it as a vector file with me, which i had downloaded from a free vector graphic site. I was unable to withdraw the entry on time as I was unaware of the case put up on the site. Is there any way I can reenter the contest if you liked any of my designs which could have been your top choice.

Thanks,
Ayush

#39 I like the playfulness, but the chicken seems a little too "macho" for the intended audience
#37 Interesting concept... the chicken feels a little too amorphous (out of shape?) and not quite conveying a healthy image that draws many to raising backyard chickens.

Ayush, I'm sorry your designs were taken down, as I did like the direction you'd taken some of them (not the one that was taken to court). I have to respect the Logo Tournament process, however, so unless they allow you back in, I'm afraid we're missing this opportunity to work together.

Ayush,
you cannot use ANY image you didn´t illustrate yourself. If you didn´t draw it it can´t be part of ANY entry or ANY contest here.

@TahiaDesign: Thanks for the info. Will keep this in mind and not use illustrations not created by me.

@Thomas: Thanks. Will try to be safe and more creative with work, and would like to work again if there are more projects from you.

#51 I really like the simplicity of the egg-with-necktie icon... can you try another treatment of the egg with something not a necktie? something feminine? And I like your type treatment a lot!

#50 I like your concept, but the chicken seems a little, um, abstract/pillowy/hard to discern what it is.

#55 can you show me a version where the "network" bar is bigger and easier to read (maybe without the egg in the same space as the network knockout)

#60 can you make the bags look a little more shopping-like? as they are now, they still look a lot like briefcases.
