New variations on the "U" + buildings icon + new font. 4 years ago Essendio commented on #276 Withdrawn Hi! New concept, light burst inside U letter to create a nice effect. 4 years ago Essendio commented on #269 Withdrawn Very modern symbol made of clean line to symbolize a spark (events concepts). 4 years ago Essendio commented on #234 Withdrawn Hi! New options, with a more clean and high-end looking mark, thin lines to also suggest a bit of feminine + a new font introduced. 4 years ago Essendio commented on #196 Withdrawn Thanks! I have thought about how to separate the divisions, somehow "problematic" in the sense of look wise in relation to other divisions and length of the word is word "AV". The intent to use the boxes was in order to keep a visual congruence along the separate divisions. Is there any way to give a bit o length to "AV"? Is "AV" a shortcut word to a bigger word? Maybe we can write the original word. Please let me know. Definitively I will think further about the design of divisions. 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #196 Withdrawn Better. I feel like the box might have to change size based on division i.e. enetertainment or AV. OR is there a creative way to ditch the box and incorporate the divisions....? 4 years ago Essendio commented on #177 Withdrawn Please check, "entertainment" within the bounding box and not to edges: #196 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #176 Withdrawn Great, thanks! 4 years ago Essendio commented on #176 Withdrawn Ops, sorry, didn't knew about it. Thanks for letting me know! Let me see what more ideas spark up. 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #176 Withdrawn UT in the south is the University of Tennessee, lol. Gotta avoid that unfortunately. But I do like the creativity 4 years ago Essendio commented on #176 Withdrawn Indeed it is also a hidden T. The intention was that if you detach and use only the icon it will still read as a big U with a hidden T, to stick better in the mind of customers in relation to the name of the brand "Uptown". 4 years ago Essendio commented on #177 Withdrawn Sure! 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #177 Withdrawn Can you put "entertainment" within the bounding box and not to edges? 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #176 Withdrawn The negative space forms a "t". I can't unsee it... 4 years ago Essendio commented on #127 Withdrawn Please check update for this version of logo with "Entertainment" (boxed style) tucked between the p and the n: - #176 - changes for this particular logo - #177 - same changes but with the previous "U" design 4 years ago Essendio commented on #127 Withdrawn Ok! Do you mean to keep the style of boxed "Entertainment" like here but just to tuck it under p and the n? 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #127 Withdrawn Sending all the other versions away, but can you tuck Entertainment between the p and the n? 4 years ago Essendio commented on #110 Withdrawn New updates with new "U building", text like here + text tucked under "uptown" + colored text without the box, please check: #127, #128, #129, #130 new icon + subtitle text boxed like here #131, #132, #132, #134 color background with boxed text #135, #136, #137, #138 text colored and tucked under "uptown" #139, #140, #141, #142 color background + text (without box) #143, #144, #145, #146 text within box that reads clearly #147, #148, #149, #150 text within box, centered to box, that reads clearly Please let me know if I understood corectly what you wished to see about text modifications. 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #124 Withdrawn I tend to lean towards Sans serif, case depends on font type 4 years ago Essendio commented on #110 Withdrawn Thank you very much for feedback, glad to hear! Sure I will do! Do you tend to like more towards simple shapes? (here the buildings + windows in my opinion are not that simple) So would you like to bring down the details a bit? Understood about "entertainment" also, sure! 4 years ago Essendio commented on #109 Withdrawn Thank you for ranking! 4 years ago Essendio commented on #124 Withdrawn Understood! Do you have any preference about small letters vs capital letters, or capital letter only for "U"? 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #110 Withdrawn So let's build on this. The U building is growing on me. Can we concept this out a few different ways? Also, can we tuck "entertainment" under "uptown" and can you pull the word within the box and also try colored text, wihtout the bounding box? 4 years ago Essendio commented on #121 Withdrawn New variations set with new font for "uptown". What do you think? 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #124 Withdrawn wrong direction with serifs 4 years ago Essendio commented on #102 Withdrawn Please check updates: #114, #115, #116, #117 4 years ago Essendio commented on #102 Withdrawn Thanks for feedback! I will upload with the normal "U". 4 years ago reidhot981 commented on #102 Withdrawn Don't love the skylike on this. What would it look like with the normal "U"? 4 years ago Essendio commented on #106 Withdrawn The "U+city" letter/icon detached + sub-brand "Entertainment". The same I did for others also. 4 years ago Essendio commented on #102 Withdrawn Hi! 4 years ago
