michal - i like number 2....could you make the circle into the shape of a "nut" and put a wrench on it????

Entry 8 needs a lot of work. For one thing it reads backwards - Vehicle Services Uptime. I left it on her because there might be something to be explored as far as the U goes....

Thanks for the entries so far. There are some good designs but I know there are many creative designs and ideas still out there.

I will be checking in later today. I will provide timely feedback and rank new entries quickly.

My favorite Uptime font and looks so far is number #13. Of course I'm looking for other great ideas!!!

Blink, I think you could be on to something with your designs. The center of the logo reminds me of a "spade" from a deck of cards. Perhaps some simplification might make it stand out more.

All of the wrenches are a "open" end type. Someone should consider a "box" type wrench...

Great job everyone. Two days left. Keep the great designs coming. I'll rank often and provide plenty of feedback!!!

Lots of blue out there... I don't see a winner yet. There is still a lot of opportunity for some creative ideas. Although I like a lot of the designs, many of them have similar look and feel.

Can someone break out from the pack and blow me away?

Remember - we are in the commercial vehicle maintenance, information, and consultation business. That's what is required to run commercial vehicles cost effectively today. Government regulations, emission laws, and advances in on-board computers makes "Vehicle Science" -> "Rocket Science!"

#44 is an interesting entry. In our company we have a "passion for potential." Meaning we get excited about helping our employees grow personally and professionally. We get equally excited about helping our customers reach their potential. We can help them do that by taking over non-core related business activities such as vehicle maintenance (a lot of companies still have small internal maintenance operations).

#44 talks to the idea of potential and asking questions. I see conversation, ideas, learning, and cooperation in that logo. Interesting....

For your information, by the way you didn't know, when the contest is in "judging" period just the designer ranked first can send variations and updates of their logos.
If you want to ask for changes for any designer you need to rank him/her first.... after you can switch anytime the first rank position between designers and ask for the last changes to fine tune your logo before select the winner.
