UPROCKLogo Design Contest

Luckykid,

Thanks for the submission. I think this is a little too simple for what we are looking for. We would love something like this for use somewhere, but for our actual logo, we are looking for something a little more modern/sleeker. I know that may seem contradictory (modern meets urban), but that's the best direction that I think I can give at the moment.

Really like #5. I can already tell this is going to be so challenging. Any way you could maybe add some elements around this (borders, paint drips... something. i'm not a designer, obviously) that would help distinguish it from just text? Just feel like if it were included in something with text, it could get lost.

but as far as my first critique, i think you are really understanding the merging of modern/urban i am looking for with #5.

Love the addition on #7! Like the addition so much, I'm wondering what UPROCK would actually look like if it were somehow written in that same element that the brackets are. Just an idea... but I love how the brackets look.

#15 didn't come out the way that we thought it would.

We really like #12, #13, #14 but would have a hard time choosing between the three. We really like the stamp feel that it has.
