this is exactly what the sort of thing that we are looking for, but this just doesn't jump out as "the one". you, i think, have a handle on the concept we are looking for and are wondering if you can submit anything else?
you are one of the only people that have submitted both a strong wordmark with a pictoral element that could eventually stand alone. we will be having our group consider this design.
I think because there is too much negative space i.e. the white arrow fill, and the white background. Did you see anything in my portfolio that you'd like to draw inspiration from, or have a way to make this better? I will submit more, I feel this style is right up my sleeve =]
we also think this is right up your alley. i really appreciate that you listened to what we were looking for and delivered something along those lines.
i do like the haute-lantan play with hard and soft script as well as the stroke of the "haute" font. i also like the iconic boldness of "the local" logo.
again, we're in no way saying no to the other one, but i'd love to see what else you could come up with for us.
This is a more messy solution. The abstract image is a stencil with the over-spray treatment. This image could also stand alone. Hope you like it, thank you!
