What We Do
Applying evidence-based research to help government policy makers (local, provincial and federal) create urban transportation solutions that move pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, transit riders to travel between places where they live, work, play, shop and learn in congested metropolitan regions in congested metropolitan regions.
Color Preferences
Yes:Blue: U of T’s official colour is Pantone 655 (dark blue).
UTTRI has an official UofT "signature" which is Pantone 655 or black on a white background or knocked out (white) on a Pantone 655 background. The logo will always be displayed on white or a Pantone 655 background. Other colour choices we will leave with the designer but UofT suggests complementing the Pantone 655 with Secondary Colours – Pantone 122, 186, 633, 412 and Accent Colours Pantone 7453, 422, 692, 7492.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Something based on the abbreviation UTTRI that conveys direction, connectedness, forward motion, breaking through congestion and gridlock.
The UTTRI logo will appear on the same page, webpage, banner, etc. as the official UTTRI signature but not adjacent to it. We should not “crowd” the official signature. The logo will not imitate the academic style of the official signature.
