Discussion

Does anyone know the image of the naked discus thrower? Like a giant strong man? How about the GRACIE fighter logo? I am going to try and find images that I can and upload them to show the direction we'd like to take. A round logo like Starbucks, surrounded with the letters Universal Fitness California...kind of like a Planet that is being held up in the air by a strong man...The fighter symbol is also a circle. WIsh there was a way to draw ideas and send them off to the designers. UFCAL is not really the main focus....strong guy, "universal" like Universal Studios, fighting symbols. BLACK RED WHITE and Electric BLue or silver or gold as an accent. Hope this helps

Okay...I just uploaded the Gracie symbol (our affiliate) and googled "google images" two words. 1) ATLAS...there you will see naked strong men holding up a planet. 2) Discus thrower ...same thing, strong guys. If you can picture a strong guy holding up a planet that says universal fitness california around the perimeter (inside or out - not sure how it will look) like starbucks is written circular...I think thats what we are leaning towards. The UFCAL acronym should be little and not the main focus. Also, keep in mind our TShirts are black, the gym walls are black, so I believe silver, bronze or gold might need to be the overarching color theme....don't get too hung up on our color choices. Use whatever you think looks good. I hope this helps. Thank YOU!

My team mates like the look of the strong man and yet would like to compare it with the picture of two people in MMA (Mixed martial arts) action. I am going to scan a couple idea sketches and upload them this afternoon. All the different ideas are good. we are open to your creativity!

Please check out images I uploaded 11/8/09. MMA JACKED is our current logo....love the red/black circle... Gracie Fighter is our affiliate logo. We like the circle, one partner prefers the discus thrower image,
