Our Ideas & Additional Information
Hi Designers - we are open to anything as long as it looks professional and memorable. Be creative! Here are some ideas from us:

We like the lettering types used in our top ranked designs but are still interested in seeing some different pictorial marks.

A comet/shooting star going behind the logo in an arch and leaving a trail.

Possibly something showing the sun rising from behind a different planet with rings (saw blade rings) around it.

I just posted this on my comments but thought I would post it here too. I had an idea to use a bridge somewhere in the design to represent construction/building. I hope that helps spark some imagination!

Maybe something that shows a construction worker that is well equiped with tools or some kind of emblem that would portray a construction job getting done.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I would like to see some different options for logos that do not include my initial idea of a globe with red and black. I am open to anything that might portray construction or building materias. I am really open to anything as long as it looks masculine and professional and is memorable. Thanks!

I had a new idea to see a design with a bridge in the background. Just fyi - we are thinking of making the header background of the website the grey metalicky tool box texture.

I hope to see some bridge designs! Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

WIth one last hour to go I would like to thank everyone for submitting designs and making requested tweaks here and there. I really appreciated being able to be interactive through the process and it has yielded so many great designs that picking a winner is going to be very tough at this point.

It's going to take me a few days to really think about the rankings and decide on a logo. I hope there is happy anticipation!

Thank you all again,

Kristen
