Eliminate the full name US Backgammon Federation. You made error in initials. They should be USBGF, and you have USBGA. Make the intials much less prominent and make the depection of the board and checkers much mor prominen.

We would like the Name moved down a bit away from abutting the board. Shorter thicker font syle with letters closer together would be prefered. Perhaps they need not extend across the entire board.

I was working on this alternative when I got the blog. I will work on these tweaks shortly. thanks for your comments.

I placed the text in a box on this one. The initials seemed to be floating without it. It looked more complete this way as well. I have a few other treatments I can try as well.
