one thing I really appreciate about your design is that it's not mere flat text with Unimark in it. I like more ambitious attempts. It's hard for me to pinpoint how you could make this design better, but I'd just like to see some more flair and I think this would come out great.
ok...just uploaded a new version, complete with more 'flair'... :) hope this is more along the lines of what you were thinking. please do let me know your thoughts on these; will make any adjustments you wish.
couldn't resist one more variation...this time i've used a star as your main focus (as in, 'superstars'...), and inserted the letter "U" in it, making a negative space logo, essentially. those are pretty popular; people tend to love those. :)
the result is a star that almost looks like it is a person. like as if they are holding their arms out, and the neckline of their t-shirt is there, shown in negative space...via the "U"....
hope that is a concept you can love. looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these too.
Hi Jennifer, in the end I'm still more of a fan of your #45-47 designs. Not too sure on how to improve those designs at this point, but they are very nice as is.
Thanks for that feedback; helped tremendously. :) Wasn't sure what you thought of it...so now, I've taken it a step further.
I felt it needed an 'enclosure'...and with your past preference for badge designs, such as the one uploaded for our reference, I felt this was a good direction to take it in.
It also gives it a neat retro feel, stronger than it had in the past.
Also, please note: I've taken off the "shine" effect from previous versions, as....well, to be honest, you probably already know this, but....the only place the shine effect really works is on paper; not so much on embroidery, or other mediums. So for all intents and purposes, the shiny effect is just for show here, not really in a practical sense anything that works across all mediums, or in all applications.
Hope you love these new approaches on the previous design I submitted. If you have any further feedback or thoughts, please do share; helps tremendously to hear what you like (and even what you don't) so I can craft the very best, most likable logo for you.
Also meant to mention this: the triangular shapes next to the "U" -- they represent action, motion...the actual act of heat transfer. The process that your company performs, and its swiftness.
Hope that helps bring it to life for you; it's a simple, very effective, memorable icon.
