Hi Edo,

Thanks for the entries. As you can see from some of the entries we didn't choose, we are wanting the GIS portion of the company name to be played down and be more subtle.

What we liked about #8 was its simplicity. What we liked about #12 was the network or pipe connotation found in the GIS portion of the logo. If that idea can be better incorporated, we would appreciate seeing your ideas.

Please see my other general comments for all the designers for additional guidance.

Cheers!

Wow, Edo, those are lots of designs! Thank you. I will be reviewing the logos with my team tomorrow at 4 PM pacific time. We will have feedback for you and the other designers at that time.

I will add that on my general note where I was looking for buildings with a network depiction underground, I had something like this (http://duino4projects.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Arduino-MP3-Player-Schematic.jpg) in mind for the network. That is, a series of multi-colored underground utilities connecting the buildings and feeding them with electricity, water, gas, etc. Not sure how to pull that off, but that's what I had in my mind.

Cheers!

Hi Edo,

The team likes the pipe effect in #71, but wasn't too fond of the prominence of the skyscraper buildings. Could we make the buildings lower profile, less prominent, and separated so that it is clearer that we're not a real estate company and that we deal with the utilities under the buildings?

Similarly with #76. Can we make the buildings smaller, less prominent, and separated? Personally, I think a multi-colored network under the buildings with a white background might "pop" out a little more.

The simplicity of #8 & #75 remain popular. #71 & #76 look too complex to some team members so we need to tone them down.

Thank you,
~ Rick

Hi Edo,

The team has requested a few changes to better evaluate your current logos:

* For #8, could we see what it would look like with the arc on the bottom, not the top?
* For #8, can you make the GIS less prominent? Maybe smaller or a more subdued color?
* For #70 & #71, we would like to see the buildings much smaller and separated so that the network connects a campus of buildings, not a single skyscraper.
* For #70 & $71, we would like the GIS to be more subdued either by size, color or some other method.
* For #71, they would like to see it without the pipe letters.

Thank you,
~ Rick

Thank you, Edo -

* I should have been more clear with #8. Can you invert the arc so that it is lower at the center, like a smile?
* For the buildings, can we make them smaller yet and separated. That is, can we have different types of buildings like a campus? Something more like http://images.crestock.com/4320000-4329999/4325737-xs.jpg

Thanks again!

Hi Edo,

The buildings are still too large and prominent in the logo. Please look at the image link I posted above. A segment of one of the rows is what I think they want to see - several different kinds of structures and separated by space. Hope that helps.

... and on entries #160-162 I meant for the arc to be still on the bottom, but flipped vertically so that it looks like a wide smile rather than currently where it looks like an inverted smile.

Thanks again!
