Our Target Audience:

Target Audience: Individuals, groups and organizations concerned about community development and quality of life issues. The platform's initial roll out is in the US Virgin islands but if successful it will see application in other communities within the United States. The audience includes boomers as well as millennials, male and female. Most will have had post secondary school education, be community concerned and socially conscious and disposed to activism.

The selected logo will marry features of the two attached markets buildings which are historical structures whose images are in the public domain. Markets in the Caribbean as well as elsewhere have historically served communities as centers of commercial as well as information exchange.

The portal is graphic rich. We are seeking a symbol/ emblem as opposed to the traditional logo type/word mark that will stand out regardless of the background on which it appears. That imagery will be self-explanatory and will be used on all marketing material associated with the communication portal.

The winning designer may be asked to make minor modifications to the submitted product (i.e., color changes or enhancements). Ownership of the competing sketches remain with the designers Ownership rights of the winning design will be transferred concurrent with the payment of the award. The designer will a written release of those rights.

Please note, the above ranking of appeal is the reverse of the above enumeration (i.e., 5= 1; 4=2. The design requested is a modern, stylized version of the visuals attached to the competition that resonates regardless of geographic location, yet harkens back to the original marketplaces. Text, if employed must be understated and the use of color and symbolism as in 3 and 4 above is encouraged.

PS . color, if incorporated, should be used sparingly to accentuate the design and where used be vibrant as in the style inspirations Arrow Point and Stand Out

The preferences are now in the standard order with #1 being highest ranked. PLEASE ELIMINATE THE WORD TEXT. The image should speak for itself.
