I'll be glad to know your thoughts about my #7, #8 logo proposals. An apple's shape has been used to symbolize New York city, known as 'Big Apple'. The prison's window portrays the bad environment sometimes New York's animal shelters have, so that animals feel and treated like they're prisoners. In #8 concept the broken bar wants to show the opportunity you'll give to animals through your alliance to 'escape' from this situation.
Thanks for the submissions and for designing logos with our mission in mind. We are discussing whether we want to use the apple - it is used often. Also, although we are focused with NYC's policies, we are not limiting to NYC. The big apple is linked more to NYC than the rest of NY. Also, in terms of the design, the dog needs to be more defined.
I made two new concepts which are based on your latest comment about the lack of new shelters (space). #27 is a symbolic representation of 'moving walls' that threat animals life. #28 has a more minimal look with a very narrow rectangle which makes animals suffer.
I am afraid I can't, because the designer of #39 will accuse me of copying his style and I'll get banned from LogoTournament. I'll try to experiment more with my broken bars concept. Hope for your understanding :)
Thank you for the additional logos - we added a couple of more days to the contest to enable our steering committee sufficient time to review and discuss the logos - We want to carry out a small focus group to see which will resonate with the public. Your logos are still our top choices now.
Hi pink...can you close the cage door...just a bit... And keep the leash looped over! Apparently theres a british company that has a logo w door all the way open. So maybe halfway closed... Thanks!!
Also on no 50, can you try to do a similar one except for a paw, try and have a leash and see if that works. Keep the 60 design and submit a separate one with a leash. The comment above is for no. 64.
thanks Pink.. can you close the cage door just a little bit more on #75? I like the idea of the leash looped through the letter.. very clever! THANK YOU !
Hi, No. 59 - would you be able to revise the bars - they seem to suggest a jail break v. opening the cage - I know we do not want just the door open, but need to change it if possible. Thanks.
Hi, No. 60 - would you be able to enlarge the tagline - it might not be legible when using the logo in a small size. 1. Also, can you try using a different splash color for the paw. Some of the other logos used a deep yellow/gold - that might be good - we might come back to the red, but red/grey is fairly common in our rescue community 2. Can you also try and change the paw a bit - it doesn't look part of the logo - seems like it is just placed there. 3. We were also thinking of maybe having an animal silhouette of sorts instead of the paw - we would like to see all options. Thanks.
Please check my new entries #84, #85, #86, #87. In some versions I tried to make a more realistic pet cage, even though I believe that a logo is a symbolic representation of a concept. Let me know if you like any of them. Thank you.
Hi In your logo no. 60, currently ranked first, could you make the paw a little smaller. - similar to what you have in No. 84? And can you make the red in the paw and the redefining a little darker shade of red - not so bright. Thanks.
Thank you for the current ranking. Please check #89, #90, #91 variations with different shades of red and paw size. I am at your disposal for any further modifications. Best Regards, Pink
Hello, New entries #89, #90 which are very close to this shade of red. Shortly I'll turn off my computer because it's late here in Athens but if you have any comments I'll reply tomorrow morning. Thank you!
