Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
I've started in its simplest form, monotone ... I've always been a believer if it works in this, it will work in colour. And also shows that it can work for things like newspaper print etc.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Thanks Angus! Really like #14 and #12. Can we see #14 without the Montgomery, TX and Farm Life on it?
#12 is my favorite so far, but the top needs a little work. Can you do a version with just the text? I do like the idea of something graphic there, but something different then what is here...
Also, Our property is not entirely hilly and the trees are round, these look a little like Christmas pine trees. Maybe more of a round oak tree look if it is going to be trees....
Could you perhaps combine #16 and #13? Somehow incorporate the design element of number #13 with the font and look of 16? However on 13, no "farm life" and also, can you swap the tree for a dog paw?

On number 27, can you make all of "ranch" the same height font? The current perspective skews the word a but and focuses too much on the "anc" portion I think. Thanks!!
#41... This shape with the grunge is awesome. Can you do one version of this with all words in the script?
#37... On this one, can you make "ranch" all the same size and then put it on the same shape as #41? Then between #41 and these two new versions, we can see all our don't options and determin which we like.
I personally am a fan of getting both fonts in there. I feel, though, like "two dude" should really be the script, though, to match the T and D in the graphic...
I understand why you're playing with height with the font in ranch, but I would prefer the font all the same size and maybe you can add some line or other treatment either vertically or across the whole word for balance? I'm open to your ideas but I justI feel with the r and h in ranch so emphasized, that word takes over for me. . .
No worries at all, and here are those tweaks and changes!
Also with #50 and #51, I thought I'd see what it looked like, keeping all the letters the same height, but mimicking the curve of the outer shape at the bottom, to make it flow with the curves.
My preference in terms of fonts - mmm, I don't mind either really. I understand where your coming from with wanting to change it to all script to match the "T" and "D". My main reason for using two fonts was to distinguish "Two Dudes" (bit of a stronger stamp font), with "Ranch" (being a more open friendly script style). But like I say, either works for me :)
#69 - replacing the T+D with B+R #70 - replacing T+D with TD and BR #71 - keeping T+D and adding a B+R at the ends of the shape
Personally I'd probably go with #69, main reason being is that you have the wording Two Dudes at the top already, and it makes more sense having your initials included rather than a repetition of the TD from the actual name (if that makes sense).
I don't mind #71, but I feel its starting to get a bit cluttered for the sake of it.
