#62 This idea rocks, we ranked it in third because the orange in the background and in the font don't quite fit our color schemes. If you could give us more examples of the same logo with just different color schemes, not changing anything else it'll make it a really hard choice to declare a winner.
Thanks for the great feedback and compliment. I love the fact that you and your wife give so much feedback - it sure does help us designers.
no problem on the color change. Are you okay with my car choice or do you have a certain ride in mind? You two probably have a nice classic ride don't you? Want to see that in the logo instead of the coupe???
Hi guys, here are some more versions with different color variations... If you let me know exactly what colors you'd like and where they need to go - I can build it in there for you.
#68 somehow and somewhere can you fit in "Slow Down...For A Great Burger....." The car is great, color choice is good,,,maybe a little more definition to the checkers. We were impressed with the other examples of automobiles. I liked that Ford Pickup. With the decisions we are having to make, this is a fun process but so hard for us to judge because of all the variables involved in not just the art but its use for us as a part of sales and advertisement.
If ever in the future your feeling you don't have the skills, remember this project, and me telling you...
Now that is nice to hear - I appreciate that, thanks.
When designing these, I did have t-shirts and merchandise in mind. I felt that you can do a lot with the design later to fit the merchandise at hand. The checkers in the background are a little more dominant with this one. I didn't want to go to much with that because I felt that it would take away from the rod and the "and" wouldn't be that readable. I had also enlarged the rod a bit. I'll doctor up a couple of more ideas for this design. Let me know...
by the way... the Ford in the other design is mine. I've been working on restoring a '53 Effie over here for while now. Only it's candy apple red and not yellow. This competition was made for me! -hehe
Man I've got a rockin' design for you! I will post it close to the end okay? The reason is that if I post it now a lot of others will jump on that idea. (As you see from my number 1 entry - a whole lotta rods coming out now!) This next design is a lot different but could look really cool so keep an eye out for it!
alright, I'm not going to wait. This is a whole different approach. I went with the burger and fries theme. A little cartoony, a little serious. I thought that the slogan "Good Times - Great Food" fit in there nicely too.
- Just so you know... the fries, drink, burger and hand are all separate in case you need to use them for individual signage later.
#92 It is going to be hard to pick from such high quality designs.
Thanks for all your hard work. I promise you, that in using a logo,,, the product we serve will meet the quality of the artwork, advertising and promoting our restaurant.
And I don't doubt it at all. The place sounds great. I love the whole 50-60's era. You watch - hot rods, rockabilly etc... is coming back. I've noticed here in Germany that it's been taking off. A lot of classics can be seen on the roads here. If you guys do it right (and I'm sure you will) the place will always be packed. You may just have a problem keeping up!
If I ever make it over to Oregon I'll have to stop by.
