Hi, First entry for your logo. Please let me know if there is anything you'd like changed. I'd be happy to make any revisions you might want. Thanks! Pam
Pam, Our CEO really likes this! I'd like to see some variations on #36. Two things I can see improving: The color (too light right now) and the contrast (needs more). One thing we will be doing is putting these logos on black boxes, so they need to be simple and clear. Not sure how to do that! I'll let you play with it. Thanks! Britt
Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll work on improving the contrast and the color, and resubmit for your review. I'll also revise the tagline.
Do you want to see the design on a black background, since you'll be printing on 'black boxes'? Just let me know, and I'll provide whatever you'd like to see.
Here is the first concept of 3 in which I revised entry #36 in different ways. In this one, I deepened the value of the screen for greater contrast to the hands and radiating 'language' marks. If this is not what you meant, please let me know. I also changed the outline of the hands to black for more punch. I deepened the color of the arms (I assumed you meant these were too light before ?). I also deepened the color of the word 'Guardian', changed 'TV' to red, and changed the tagline.
Please let me know if there is ANYTHING you wished changed on this, or any of my subsequent designs. Or if you want to see a combination of any of the elements of these, a mix and match. Thanks for liking my designs!
This one is almost the same as #58, except I went back to a somewhat lighter screen, adding a darker gradient in the center behind the hands and 'language' marks, to play them up more, while leaving contrast between the edges of the screen and the frame of the TV. Let me know if you want the center of the screen a little darker. Thanks! Pam
I really like this new one! (72). Can you expand "Foul Language Filtering" to match the width of "TVGuardian"? (Both on this and its counterpart on white). Thanks!
Hi, Per your request, here is the revision of #72 - with the justification of the tagline with the company name, on a white background. I also added the universal NO symbol as a stamp/tatoo on the hand. This can easily be deleted if you prefer it without. Thanks! Pam
Great! Could we see #72 with both black and white backgrounds, only the words "Foul Language Filtering" as wide as "TVGuardian"? And can you find a font that widens "Foul Language Filtering" without having to put such wide spaces inbetween the words? If you do this, I think we're going to post yours in our facebook contest. Thanks!
Sorry to get back to you after the contest ended. I just now got back in town and saw your message; I was away all day with a family affair.
I will gladly make the change to the tagline that you requested this morning.
However, since the contest is now in judging, I can't upload anything unless I'm in first place. Only the first place designer is allowed to upload when the contest is in judging mode.
If you want you can temporarily move me to first, so I can post this latest revision.
Hi! When we poll our friends, #132 is the most-chosen logo so far. but the management has some problems with it. If we can fix those problems, we have a strong chance. We like the concept, but the actualization of it comes across as a bit too kiddie-like, not professional enough. Would it be possible to try the same concept with a more professional look to it? Colors less bright...TV more sleek...something clear and solid and professional--that's what we're after. We expect to sell millions of these through a partnership with one of the leading satellite companies in America--we don't want to look like lightweights! Whatever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, Here's the revision of #169. Widened the TV screen. Let me know if it needs to be even wider, or if there are any other changes you'd like made. Thanks!
Good news! It looks like 169 is in the lead. Here's how we can do some final polishing:
See http://tvguardian.intuitwebsites.com/index.html for an idea of what our CEO likes I think what he liked was some hint of white arms within the TV "Foul Language Filter" instead of Filtering, please Please add a (R) mark For some reason, the eyes are too low--please raise The exclamation marks are a bit jumbled Try eyes like #132 You can still put the TV on top of the wording Would like to have colored on black, colored on white, all white on black
Hi, Thanks for the ranking and the feedback. I checked out the link you provided, and I'll revise #169 accordingly. Also, I'll submit the other versions you requested ASAP. Thanks so much! Pam
Here's the revision of #169 you requested. Raised the eyes, and made them like #132, fixed the exclamation marks, changed the tagline, added arms as shown on the link, added ® . let me know if you need any further revisions. Always glad to do it. Pam
Hi! Our CEO really wants to make your logo work. He's asked for the following: # Eyes, Hands and Expression of Entry #132 # TV and Arms of Entry #168 # TVGuardian font and colors of #168 # Tag Line: The Foul Language Filter # Put TVG into the TV stand, or make a TV stand out of the letters TVG. # A second version with Arms like Entry #65, only white Arms instead of red. Thanks! Britt
Latest request from our CEO--if you could help, that'd be great:
Just direct him to tvguardian.intuitwebsites.com. From there:
* Improve on TVG TV stand concept like I have on home page. Font should probably match the TVGuardian font. * I stretched the TV to make it wider, which hurt the resolution. Have him improve the resolution on the wider TV, eyes, exclamation triangles, TV frame, etc. * Provide two separate files: o Logo only o TVGuardian with tag line THE FOUL LANGUAGE FILTER (tag line in white). The (R) resolutions needs improving too.
