Both entries: I like the circle incorporated with the T, especially #1. I think the circle should be mostly red and then as it starts up the T it should start turning yellow, then green. Similar to what you are doing in #1. Maybe consider doing the rest of the letters in black. I like the added color of the turquoise and it's meaning. I would prefer that the font be a little more classical.
