A little more "life" added to the design :)
Feedback appreciated...thanks.

Thank you for your entries. I appreciate you requesting feedback from me.

#15 - I like the simplicity in the lines (soft essence). I'd like to see you change it to keep the simplicity, but make the left side represent branches and the right side of the tree represent leaves.

#18 - cute lemur. Could you work with him to hang differently? I know I had said for him to hang by the tail, but could you try him hanging from all fours and his tail hanging down?

Entry 17 appeared as "withdrawn". I like entries 16 and 14 just fine, but I see more promise with 15 and 18, so let's start there.

I'd like to see angled letters (no more vertical letters for now), and some unique fonts. Different color combinations would be nice too.

Lastly, some attempts to use the last T in trust and the L in life in a unique way would be nice.

Here it is with branches on one side of the tree, leaves on the other. I also changed the font...I think this font flows better with the tree.

Another take on the same design. A sturdy font for "trust," a flowing font for "life."

Thanks for your new entries.

I'd still like to see you work with the lemur, hanging by all fours from the words trust life. Also, if you can work in one slogan I'm considering with the lemur: "Let go...trust life", that would be great to see.

In comparing entries #32 and #33: I like the tree better in #33 (the uniformity in color of leaves is why I like it better). As for fonts, I see exactly what you mean by sturdy and flowing (as they relate to the words trust and life), however, I still don't want any capital letters. I like the font you chose in #32 and the font you chose in 'life' in #33 (I just don't want the capitals in TRUST). Thank you.

Thanks for the continued feedback. I'll submit another entry using the same fonts as #33, but without capitals (I'll also use uniform leaves).
The lemur will take quite a bit longer to re-do, but I'll get started on him.

Lemur hanging by all fours. I only used the "Let go..." portion of your slogan. What do you think?

Excellent! One clarification, I liked the leaves NOT being uniform in color. I really liked the variation of greens you used in the leaves. I just re-read what I wrote...you read it correctly...but I mis-typed...I'm sorry, my fault completely. I like the leaves being different shades of green. How about that? :-)

Thank you very much for re-working the lemur. He looks great! Fonts also look good.

#43 - I'm having a hard time reading "Let go..." Could you perhaps make it a tiny bit bigger and see how it looks in a bit darker green? I'm not sure how it would show up on a t-shirt.

Great work! Thank you for responding so well to my feedback (even when I mis-communicate!).

Just thought of one more thing you could add...mostly so I could see if it's going to be too much: how about adding my original slogan (not the one you used with the lemur) to #47. The slogan reads: "It's bigger than you...trust life"

Some folks have placed the slogan underneath 'trust life', but please feel free to be creative with it.

And thank you again for your continued effort.

Yes, very creative with the placement of the slogan...thank you!

One more request: any way you can center "trust life" (with the slogan above) WITH the tree? Meaning, the bottom of the tree would come down more in line with the bottom of the f in life. Let me know if that's unclear.

Thanks so much!

I think I understand your request...I'll make the change and submit it shortly.

When I centered the wording with the tree, the bottom of the tree actually fell below the bottom of the loop in the "f" and it wasn't a good look. I think it's better to line up the bottom of the tree with the bottom of the loop in the f, as opposed to truly centering them.
Just let me know if you'd like me to try something else here.

Now that I see this design posted, I'm wondering if the tree needs to be raised slightly. I'll await your feedback, though.

#60 - you nailed the positioning...you understood exactly what I wanted...thank you.

I was thinking about the placement of the slogan, and I'm thinking it should really be secondary to the logo (like how you placed it in #57). How about placing the slogan underneathe or some other place where it's secondary to the logo?

Just a thought...you if place the slogan underneathe, you may have to recenter...I'll trust your judgement since you did it perfectly on #60.

One last thing...I'm still trying to decide on my final slogan. Could you also try it with "It's just that simple..."

Thank you very much!

Another version with the new slogan slightly moved to the right. I thought the left side felt slightly "heavy" with the slogan lined up with the left side of the "t."

I've uploaded a few variations for you. I plan on being away from my home office computer all day and, therefore, will not be able to make changes as the contest ends. I will, however, be available to answer any questions/respond to comments you may have on my entries.

It has been a pleasure working with you too. As an fyi...I have requested to extend the contest by three days. I'm guessing you will be notified with that happens.

So, here's the deal. At first, when I started down this logo road, the idea I had in my head was very similar to what you produced. That's why you were ranked so highly toward the beginning and middle of the contest. However, what happened, is I started shifting my thinking to wanting a logo that was stronger and more simple. Yours are simple (In a GOOD way), airy, and light. Now, I'm leaning more toward bold...with the thought that it will be remembered more easily. Honestly, that's why I like so many entries by Eternal Light (I'm guessing you can see his/hers). I like them more than my #1 pick, but I have a few very close friends in marketing that are steering me to my top pick...for now.

I'm not sure why I'm telling you all of this. Basically, I want you to understand why I took a 180. I like your work very much, and when the contest continues, I'd love to see more of your ideas. However, I understand if you're not up for heading back to the drawing board.

i still think a strong, abstract tree with branches on the left and leaves on the right would be awesome. And if someone could figure out how to work in a unique TL that fits with the feel I'm looking for, more power to them...I'm not sure how to steer anyone in that direction.

Again, thank you for your continued work, effort, and patience.

Yes, I am able to see everyone's entries (and designer/contest holder comments for each entry). You may have noticed that 1st place designs tend to be copied in some way. Unfortunately, that's how it goes with logo contests (unless it's a blind contest), so now let's move on to your predicament.
When I fell so rapidly from 1st to 16th place, I figured that someone else had gotten involved in the decision making process. This morning, I read the comments you wrote for mefresh. You said your friends liked his/her logo. If these friends are business partners, you should listen to their comments and select a logo you will all be happy with.
If they're not business partners, then you need to select a logo that fits what you're looking for, since it's ultimately your logo. I suggest you consider doing a little research. There are many articles on the web that offer advice on selecting a business logo. You should select a design which isn't a current fad that will likely be outdated in a few years.
I would like the chance to try again, but tomorrow I'll be going out of town to spend the holidays with family (leaving sunshine for cold and snow...brrr).
Happy Holidays!

Thank you for not giving up on Trust Life Today! I really like your new designs. The TL on the trunk is clever and very similar to many drawings I did before I decided to be a part of this process.

I like #140 more than 139 b/c it's easier to tell that the trunk is made up of the letters TL. Do you mind switching out the leaves to the leaves you used earlier?

As for fonts, I've noticed I lean more toward liking a stronger "trust" in print and a more lively/flowing "life". I also like different sizes between the words.

Again, thanks for your continued participation!

#146 - I really like it! Thank you.

I like the darker/stronger purple and green you chose. I also like the subtle difference in the branches on left. Lastly, I really like the size of that tree. So, as far as design, please don't change a thing.

Color - I think we should keep the green in the places you used it to represent life. What other color would you couple with green other than purple? I do like the purple, but I wonder if a turquoise or other color (your call) would pop even more than purple. ???

The font is my only true concern on this one. I wish I had one to offer up to you. I've looked at so many I've gone cross eyed. I know I'll know it when I see it...I just haven't seen it yet.

Lastly, I updated the contest brief with some pretty specific ideas around what I'd like to see with the TL. Please feel free to take a stab...or not...meaning, I like what you've done, so please don't change a thing! (other than font and color as I just specified).

I understand this is the holiday time for you...not the best time to be in the middle of a contest. Take care and enjoy!

Since blue is a color used to symbolize trust, it seemed like a good choice :)
Darker blue on bottom of "trust" changing to a brighter/lighter blue one top of the word.

Thank you.

#152 - I like the blue best out of all colors used for "trust". I also like this font the best. Don't change anything on trust please.

Any other suggestions for unique fonts for "life"?

Thanks again.

I like the blue the best, too, followed by the purple in a very close second. I uploaded 5 new entries (different fonts for "life"). I hope there's one you like :)
