The new logo does not have to work from the existing logo (e.g. you do not have to use the ampersand prominently as part of the new logo).

OK, the Tree is not really working. Let's stay with something simple and elegant.

None of these are working at all with the exception of the lettering in the DesignLabs logo, examples 7 & 8 (but not the stylized Tree).

It is therefore difficult to rank these submissions to date.
