While I am personal a big fan of the color green.
This contest does not require any specific colors at this point, so feel free to be creative with colors

We have decided that we would like to see the incorporation of the recycling arrows into the design.
We don't want it to over power the trash container, however the majority of our prodducts are made from recycled materials, so we would like to squeeze that message into the logo.
