Thank you for your submission. I looked at your Profile and I like the font in
Baby Love (Client ranked 22nd)
The butterfly is too big. Could you please make it smaller and could you please try the font that you have in Baby Love?
Thank you!

#9 As I look at your butterfly even more, I like the colors (purple and black) its the closest version of the butterfly that I submitted but I don't like the person in the center. Could you please move the butterfly to the left and make it smaller. Could you submit the logo with the butterflies wings like the entry that I have ranked 1st? What would the butterfly look like if the person was black instead of blue? Could you submit a butterfly landing on the "T" with a slant on the "T" (top left side of the T down left and the right side of the T up - like #7 but try out the font in your logo Baby Love)?
Thank You!

If I get a chance I'll submit a new design following your instructions. It came to my attention that another designer was using the person/butterfly combination first. If you decide you want a person in the butterfly I'm sure she'll be happy to work with you on it. Just let her know.
Thanks for your feedback on my design. I appreciate the time you took to look through my portfolio and select a font.

Ahhh! amazing! I love the ripple in the pond effect! How creative! (LOL! Thats why you are doing this and not me! I am going to rank you 2nd with the ripple in the pond. I still like the butterfly (that I've ranked 1st better) but I'm still not sold on the font. however I do like the font of #63 best out of 43,44, & 64. Thank you for lightening up the butterfly. Could you please try to lighten up the butterfly on 43 and stick it on 64 and make "transformations a darker purple (it looks faded)? Thanks for your submission. It was a breath of fresh air!

Thank you for submitting 66. I'm torn between your 2 butterflies they both look great. I would rank both of them 2nd. Could you please Lighten up the butterfly in 66 and make "Transformations" darker? Thank you!

Thank you again for all your efforts. I just wanted to let you know that I've narrowed down what I like about all the designs.
Butterfly in #67, #66, & #53
Ripple Effect in #66
Font of "ansformations" in #67, #66, #59, #28 #53(I dont like the tail of the "F" curling back up),
Font of "T" in #59
Font of "By Debi" in #53 & # 28 But could you also please try "By Debi" in Monotype Corsiva?
Thanks again for all your time and effort!

Thank you for submitting #79 & #76.
On #79 I dont like the thickness of the right side of the "T"
Could you please resubmit #79 and use the font on #67 for the word "transformations". And could you make all the words as dark as the butterfly on #64.
Thank you!

type changes and color. I'm going to keep doing some subtle variations on the butterfly. I didn't use the exact font you asked for, as I don't seem to have it in my font collection. I have tried to use a similar type treatment. Thanks so much for all the feedback.

Thank you for the new submissions! I love them! Can you use the texture in the butterfly of #89(I dont like the shape of the wings in #89) and add that texture to the butterfly in #88 and/or #87. I also like the darker color of the font. Thank you for making those changes and submissions. I will rank everything in the morning.
I appreciate your creative talents!

Thank you for #90! Ahhhh! I love the butterfly and I love the ripple effect and I like the font. I am working with my web designer on color so as of right now I just may need to tweak or change the colors just a bit. You have given me everything that I've asked for! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'll stay in touch.
Great job and I am appreciative of all your time and efforts.

I know you did this with your designs initially but my web designer has suggested/asked if we could see #90 with the gradient (in the word "Transformations" from dark to light) and then have "Debi" in a dark color.
Could you please resubmit #90 for me with the above changes?
Thank again for all your hard work.

Here are the color transitions. I did one darker and one lighter. Just let me know if there are any other changes you want to see.

This is a version where I have worked the design into two spot colors, in case you need to print in less than full color or want the consistency of specifying Pantone colors to the printer. I wanted to see how the colors might simplify. This is in a purple and light blue.

Laura,
Thank you for all the color designs! Please do not withdraw any of your designs that I have in the "not interested section. I'm torn between you and doncorvair so I'm still working on my design. I also like the black and white submission as well. Thank you. I'll keep you posted!

Laura,
One last change. Could you please make the font size of #118 as big as #112?
I just wanted to make sure that I understand the contest rules correctly. If I select yours will you still be able to work with me on the font size and color if I need to change it after the contest is over?
Thanks again for all you've done. I really appreciate your creative talent.

I have an errand this evening, but I'll get the change done as soon as I can. And, yes, whomever you have in first place can continue to work with you during "judging" phase until you are completely happy with the design.

I should also mention that even beyond the judging phase, even after you have selected a winner, you don't have to approve final files until you are ready. The winning designer can resubmit files until you have the ones you want, and can send additional file formats, black and white versions, etc., through email or other means. The only difference there is that once you have actually selected a winner, you are committed to that designer. You can keep changing your mind during the judging phase, but not once the winner has been chosen.
Just let me know what else I can do for you,
Laura

Laura,
thank you for the new changes and thank you for explaining everything as well. I do know that I will want to work with you after the contest regarding colors and fonts. However, could you please make another change. I really like the gradient color (in the word "Transformations" from dark to light) In #112 (2nd rank) and then have "Debi" a little bit bigger and in a darker color (the same color as the beginning of the gradient) and then could you make the ripple effect more of a royal blue.(please keep the fade of the center ripple purple and fade into the blue) I also like your butterfly the best but I like the lavender color of the butterfly in #112. Could you please make these changes? (I hope all this makes sense.) I need to get a png or psd file over to my web designer. How quick can I get that over to her after the contest is over? As soon as I get those changes I can end the contest.
Thanks again for all you've done. I am grateful of your time and efforts!

I can keep adjusting colors with you if you need me to. As far as final artwork is concerned, once you select a winner I will submit final files on the version you like almost immediately (unless I'm away from desk, in which case it might be an hour or so). Tweaks and color changes and something like a black and white version would take a little longer to put together, but I would certainly work as quickly as I could to get you final files you like.

Thanks Laura!
However, I like the butterfly in #144 and everything else in #130. So could you please add the butterfly in #144 to #130 and make "Debi" darker.
Thanks again and I'm pretty sure after this I'm good to go!
You've done an amazing job!
Thanks again!

Thank you Laura. Can you do the the "by Debi" in a darker purple like the "T" or like the color of the butterfly in #130. Sorry I should have been more specific when I said "darker".
Thanks again!

Laura,
I'm torn between #146 & #147. I'm going to chose #146 but if my web designer needs to tweak the colors, we can work on it then! Great job! Looks wonderful! Thank you again for all you've done! As soon as I get the upload/file from you, I can send it over to them and we can go from there.
Thanks again!
Warmest Regards,

Laura,
Can my web designers change the colors if they need to or do we need to go through you? If we need to go through you, do you have a color chart that you use so that I can be more specific about a color instead of saying "lighter" or "darker"? I'm still not completely happy with the color of "by Debi".
Please let me know what color chart you have or use.
Thanks again!
Congratulations!

Thanks, Debi,

Your web designer can give me specific numbers that correspond to web colors. He/she'll know how to tell me exactly which color they want. I have uploaded final files, but LT requires that we submit eps files. If you need me to send you other formats (web designer may want png files, for instance), just send me a private message with an email address where I can send files. I can even email directly to web designer if you want. And if you want the web designer to have the ability to change the colors directly, they can probably do that from my eps file, but can certainly do it if, once you approve the final files, I send you the original Adobe Illustrator files. Whatever you need. Just let me know.

Thanks again,

Laura

Thanks Laura,
Can you do "by Debi" in #8a0886 and make the font size of "Debi" 2 font sizes bigger and then send those files over. I know my web designer mentioned png files so I'm going to send her an email to confirm which file type and find out where she wants me to send them. I'll be home all day tomorrow so we can finalize everything tomorrow.
Thanks again!
