Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.

~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

The logo needs to reflect the strong advocacy we take on behalf of Microsoft's advertising clients. The advertising world is fraught with fraud and malicious activity. There's lots of money being spent in online advertising, and like other forms of online malicious activity (phishing, spamming, identity theft, etc.), where there's money you'll find scammers trying to grab a slice of it. Our Traffic Quality team is not a business, but rather a support team within the advertising business, and we forensically investigate potential fraud issues discovered either by our own monitoring and systems, or when advertisers find an anomoly in their own data that would lead them to believe fraud is present.

I'm affraid that Microsoft is registered and we cannot use it in your logo (even as the word, not only the logotype).

Even if our team is part of Microsoft? Ok. If this is the case, then leave out the word Microsoft. Thanks for letting me know.

If you are officially part of Microsoft and you have permission to use their brand and name in your logo design - then you can include it - but it's a legal minefield if you don't have specific permission from them to use it.

Feel free to exclude the word 'microsoft' if this is a problem. I can always follow up with the winning designer once I get official permission to the designer's satisfaction to include it.

Members of my team provided feedback that since we deal with advertising fraud and click fraud, they'd like to see some executions include a mouse or some representation of a click.

I'm getting feedback from the team that there should be more elements that point towards our forensics investigations expertise. Fingerprints. Computer mouse. Magnifying glass. Investigation motifs.
