Town of Littleton, Massachusetts - Logo to brand their Master Plan effortLogo Design Contest

Hard to figure out what is happening here with the imagery. I like the other two options better.

I like the tree in the first logo better. I think Town of LIttleton, or Littleton should be incorporated into the logo somewhere. I don't get a good sense for what the trees are representing, could be maturing from a small tree to a large one. When I read Plan for 2030, my eyes start at 2030 and read upward, maybe have Plan start on the left and then descend down to the right?

The fist gives the impression of ripping a tree out of the ground, not necessarily growing or cultivating. I like this tree better than the ones in the second logo option. Maybe if a hand was planting a this tree it would be better. Green and red colors are nice. Need to rethink the fist/hand/color though.
