Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
With the icon, I tried to keep it circular to suggest a camera lens whilst also looking like the feathers of the toucan.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Appreciate your effort, we would like something that really gives off a feeling of fun, we would like the bird to have character and initiate a fun happy emotion. We don't need it to symbolize a lens, we are open to having it perched or flying around the name.
Great job with these. Anyway you could make the Toucan smiling. I really like entry 27, but it looks like he is a little sad. Either the smile or the eyes.
I've turned the eye around (so now in a positive angle), and I've also curved the beak ... The very bottom and also in the middle making the middle curve a "smile". Hope that made sense lol.
#51 and #52 - placing #18 as the "c" in toucan. With #52 I also added some extra depth to the toucan itself. #53, #54, #55 and #56 - also added more depth and experimented with different eyes.
Could you tell us the font that you use for the name Toucan? We are currently working on a web build and would like to keep the theme for buttons and such.
No problems at all. Its called Aller Display (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Aller) ... You also have a few others in the family (bold and light). Hope that helps?
Could you give us 2 looks exactly like #123, except one with the subtext and horizontal line in the color dark grey instead of green; and the other navy blue instead of green?
