Dasx,I definitely like #3 better than #4 ......but not a bad idea with the "TOP DOG" Angle. I dont know how i feel about all red background....maybe flip the blue and red (maybe a darker Blue than the one you used see what that looks like add a magicians wand somewhere that says yarneting leaning on hat or something ...definitely best top hat logo i have seen so far though out of the only two i have seen. though Great work. I am hoping someone will do a close adaptation of my two crap sketches at some point during this tournament

it does not hurt you all designers on this site does it? if i move the dog one to not interested right? I really like your top hat one at the moment...i would say keep going that angle of your two ideas.....I just didn't want others using the dog idea . Let me know I am fine not moving it into the not interested box for now but let me know if i should.i figure that way other designers wont waste time with a TOP DOG type entry

Yes, you are in control of the contest. You can do what ever you need to steer it, just watch for the ones who sometimes try to piggyback an idea. :)

you are the man..did not want to offend because i do like your work and your page looks good too .i watch out for people piggy backing..don't be afraid to go with the Top style too...I hope designers are not too afraid to do similar to what i asked for ya know..i mean i sketched out (if you can call it a sketch lol) of a little TOP smiley guy so i do expect several similar to that at some point. Another IDea for you which may be out in left field but looking at your page you actually gave me your "midwest steal" and "Root and foundry" logos have the nice standard but professional feel to them.I know those take less time if you want to swing one in with that style who knows i may go more professional with it. Like have a top with the words TOP on it to the left as the box graphic and then written out Online awareness.com. maybe underlined with Yarneting I dunno. How the heck does this site pay you guys.do you all only get paid if you win or place? or do you at least get something for the submissions

dang that sucks.......looks like your winning 18% of the time though. I would thing you would get at least something for 2nd or 3rd.....everyone I keep showing the logos to likes the more professional looking Blue TOP and your HAT.....it may be that the cartoon style may be to childish for those i am showing it too. I don't know I threw out a nother suggestion a little ago maybe do your TOP HAT with the word top on it to the left and then right out top oinline awareness to the right. You know traditional logo style.similar to layout of your Midwest steel fab thing. Graphic to left and words to right. Maybe a want or string of yarn under it with the yarneting llc

just an update man......when i ask other people what logo they like best the consistently pick yours or the one i just ranked #4. I think they are both more clean mature styles which is why people like them. My bad on saying you win 18% i did not realize that was just times you have one as a finalist its more like 10% of the ones you have actually entered. Anyway I like your approach to this competition..I don't know how this dude from the Philippines keeps churning out logos that quick.......is it like a team of people over there handcuffed to a desk or something? its nuts, i have worked with graphics designers before and I know how time intensive this can be. Anyway man take a look at general comments but save your time and energy as I am pretty sure you will be a finalist unless like a flood of amaze balls entries come in all of a sudden...from what i can tell it is just going to be you three in the top 5 because you each have design that i could see as the logo of my company.

I will stay in my clean mature mode to provide some options/solutions from the high ranked.

Bro don't worry about you logging in and doing updates like these people from the Philippines and Indonesia.......I do not expect nor do i want you to spend a ton of hours on the chance to get paid. Your time is worth more here than there time is there at the moment because our dollar is stronger at the moment...until our govt collapses under debt LOL. It is much harder for you from a business/time standpoint to commit the time like they are $400 over there is a lot more than it is here. If you have paid hourly freelance work get that shit done first. I am nearly 100% confident ill take you to the finals anyway as i have seen your other work...(thats not to say that i would not want to see at least one revision before then. What kind of cut of the $400 do this company actually pay to the designers? Are they cool with me taking pay pals or company names on this site if i chose to engage you all for work after the competition..or to just throw you all $50 bucks for the effort? or do they try and keep you all behind a curtain from us?

you paid 400 - winner gets 327. When the contest is over and there is a winner you can continue that relationship outside of LT if you both choose.

Some designers will try to break the rules buy offering extra stuff for next to free to try to sway the top spot. this is bad for all of us and if caught they will probably be banned.

OK Cool thanks for the info..everyone i show these logos too are pushing me out of my childish ways..i still think a top super hero guy could be used in some animated videos or something ahhh well....in the back of my mind i think i know i should go more professional (higher client perceived value.....we will see how it all plays out.

solid work don't forget to try and incorporate yarneting llc somewhere in the logo in the finals i was thinking in the shadow of the top or something..now get back to your freelance! LOL

last thing don't worry about my requested colors go with your gut..i was even thinking like the apple or Jaguar silver after seeing #26 if i do go professional with it may as well go all the way!

I think your best shot is to stick with #26 idea.but go with different colors or try the silver, apple, Jaguar colors look we discussed before. You also have to be able to get yarneting, llc in that top or in the shadow somewhere..I say lets abandon the top hat route. Ill shoot you strait right now the dude that submitted way late has some really nice stuff coming in and i'm starting to like his more that the philipines guy its just cleaner work .But look man i have seen your profile you have good stuff. See if you can smack these guys down for me USA USA USA LOL..don't kill yourself time just do some quick color edits get yarneting in there,and do my other( TOP 5 request i just posted in general comments) posted in general comments black backrounds etc. thanks for your time man hopefully the cash can stay in the states. LOL
