What We Do
I competently and carefully provide expert guidance to families buying and selling their homes...once I've amused them with some memorable schtick so they will remember me.
Industry
Real Estate
Color Preferences
I would love a color distinctive enough that it would be recognizable by itself. Do a google image search for "indigo" or "electric blue" and you'll see some colors that will really stand out in traffic.

What goes with that? White? Red? Black?
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Because TimothyBrownDotNet introduces himself as TimothyBrownDotNet, people eventually can't say the name "Timothy Brown" without finishing it "DotNet". In fact, they may eventually drop the first part and just call him "DotNet". So the dot and the net are very important components to include for identity purposes. It's also handy because if they remember the name, they have memorized my contact info as well.

It would be amazing if you could include something in the design that suggests a house or real estate so that even people that haven't seen the fabulous TimothyBrownDotNet show in person would know that he's a real estate agent.

The horrible, handmade mock up of a couple of logos that I have composed make the DOT the centerpiece. See what you can make of that. The one on the bottom is long so it would fit well on my free pens.

Discussion

We have a ton of fantastic samples that are centered on the DOT like my original sketch. Don't be afraid to throw up something completely, wildly different.

Many of the entries have become quite detailed, featuring fine lines and complete my slogan. On the other hand, #59 is quite simple, and the shape of the whole logo is closer to square, rather than long like my original design, which will work better in most applications - excluding pens. Its heavy lines make it very readable.

I would like to wind up with such a clear, readable logo, but I'm hoping for something with more of my personality. I'm more Arial Black than Trebuchet, more Van Halen than Michael Bolton, more TimothyBrown.NET than timothybrownDOTnet....ya know?

These are really coming along now. BIGGER, BOLDER, CLEARER, BRIGHTER.

The "Amazing service and free pens" slogan is cute, but distracting so let's forget that.

Dear Ch
The contest has entered top 5 mode -
Only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit entries. So you may have to temporarily place anyone whom you may have asked for changes in top 5 so they can submit changes you have asked for - hope this helps

I have selected green as the accent color. Let's go a little lighter to make it pop. I'm not sure if that just means pulling the gradient down a little lower to make the whole dot lighter?

I like your gradient on #322 so that ties that up.

Gonna grab a burrito and hopefully name a winner when I get back...
