Slogan

To build a time banking movement that uses time as a currency to promote community building, caring, and a passion for justice.

What We Do

? Use of a time-based currency in which network members earn time credits by helping others. An hour of service receives one credit regardless of the service given. Credits earned can be used for services provided by others or donated to those in greater need. Individuals, associations, congregations and organizations can all take up timebanking to form a pool of helpful actions, learning opportunities, and mutual support: “time in, time out.” A coordinator or team of coordinators helps nurture and maintain the network, conducting outreach, orientations, and help with matching of needs to capacities.
This mode of exchange lets people swap time and skill instead of money. The aim is to help reenergize the core family and improve quality of life by promoting innovative solutions that will give their ‘service users’ opportunities to grow in self-confidence and to become a valued member of their community.

The logo should have people, I like the circle design and the fact that we can make people in different colors. We all spend our lives racing with the clock so perhaps do away with that!
