Thanks for your submission. We are hoping to see more of a corporate logo that is a bit more flexible than the seal you created. In looking through some of your other designs, for example, the Tikkl, Marketing Method and similar logos are more what we are looking for--something simple and polished but with a little color and flair.
We do really like your icons. There are three of us making the final choice and we have different tastes. We hope our request here is alright as we've never done this before. Until now we have not told designers what colors or word emphasis we were seeking. The icon was our main interest.
We are now asking the final contneders to adjust your text so that the primary focus is either on TICKET, perhaps with a small to next "to" it and Reading Rewards only as big as the first line copy, or to emphasize Ticket and Reading equally. Rewards is the least important word, and many designs need to reverse the imporatnace of our text.
Also, our parent organization--the National Association of Basketball Coaches (nabc.com)--uses red and blue colors. We would like to use those colors in our logo.
Can you submit versions of your #25 and #4 that reverses the emphasis and uses our colors; 3 colors are fine also? Also, on 25 we wonder how it would look if there were 3 elements rather than 4, with one element on top and 2 below?
Our intent once the contest ends later today is to take the three finalists and do a final round of very specific changes/touch-up before selecting a winner. We anticipate that your design will be in this group and will follow up with more direction tomorrow.
I'm not sure how to organize this, but I wanted to throw out a lot of different wishes and feedback to try to tweak your design #25 into a final form that we can weigh against the other two contenders. Please ask questions where we are not clear, but keep in mind that in many case we have an idea of what we want but are still open to your interpretations and design guidance.
Wording: Should be two lines with break as Ticket To / Reading Rewards (or to minimized similar to design #79) Font: Prefer a simple, clean, modern font (closer to Calibri or Arial than Times New Roman) Capitalization: Open to all caps, some caps or first letter caps Text Color: Open to one or combo of icon colors Design Elements: No reflections, please; we would also like to see the icon with only three books but maintaining 3 or 4 colors as another alternative (the red/blue entry #64 you submitted just didn't have enough pop)
