Color Preferences

My opponent uses red, white and blue so I would like to avoid the classic "American flag" color. I would like to see some more modern and/or feminine colors, because the fact I am a woman running may stand out against the incumbent, who is male. Possibly fuschia, or turquoise.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

Is there a way to incorporate an apple (symbol of education) or a stack of books? I like these wordmark logos that people are submitting - maybe there's something with more of a visual symbol? Thanks!!
