Discussion

Of course you should keep the 'existing' logo. No question about it!

It's fun, vibrant in colours and wonderfully naive. Just the way kids like it. You just need an update!

So here it is:
1. New fantastic 3D bricks with strong colours depth and perspective. (Used same angles as the original!)
2. New kids with an attitude. (These kids are usually quite strong headed, right?) :-)
3D with shades and highlights.
3. New font on "Therapies" and also kkeping the 'small' letter 'I' and with a dot over.

Enjoy!

Feedback is always welcome!

Akerman

Without bottom shade. You don't have any shade today so tell me what you like.

we love this! BUT can you let us see what it would look like with the 4 seperated somehow from the blocks like maybe put the 4 in the middle, it can be in a block or not.

Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated!

I will do the requested changes today, no problem.

If you by any chance need some small variations in the future (as just the text w no kids or different colours for different purposes(ex. b/w), I'll be happy to provide you with that.)

Oh and I was wondering if you see the same 'small' image that I do when looking at the contest?
Why I'm wondering is because I think it would be nice if you could see all the details. As designers we actually send in a resized JPEG file 700x560px - that becomes resized again to the smaller contest format. That's implementing a compression (with severe loss) twice. Meaning quality will suffer.

Anyway, this logo is scalable and I'm into details so it should look nice on billboards and business cards.

Ok, I made some variations, but am fairly certain that you' fall in love with the glossy one. ;-)

Bigger glossy '4' and outlined name to increase visibility on any background.

Bigger outline on name and gradients on text surface and reversed on outline gives even higher readability and maybe better balance.

I'm a bit reluctant to go glossy on the name AND the '4' at the same time, but hey just say so and you have it! ;-)

the 4 looks a little weird when its big and behind everything. also when its in the "cross" it looks too much like red cross. maybe it cannot be seperate and thats okay too.

Will try some more variations later today and tomorrow. Just give to give you some ideas.

But yes, it is a little bit hard to balance the name, kids and the cubes correctly so that everything is in harmony.

With slogan. Version of #31.

To be frank and honest, there is a balance issue with this logo (bricks, kids, name and slogan). And I mean the logo in general, not just my contributions. This is mainly because of the size of the bricks, their 'random' directions and the irregular 'shape' of the human body, as opposed to strict letters.

Therefore I made these new variations where the balance is more centred and the company name/slogan is more in the foreground and letting kids and bricks 'frame' the words. I think it gives more balance and gives focus on company name and slogan, still being playful.

Less scattered bricks may give a 'calmer' impression.

Split name and slogan.

Back to 'plain' letters. Remember that the font, the cube placement and colours can be arranged in almost any way with this design.

Plain font with kids and slogan at the bottom. A slim version that'll fit almost anywhere.

Washed the blocks in a sponge bath and removed most gradients. Candy colours.

If you want I can add kids on this one as well. But remember that the more things you put into the logo the more unbalanced it will get, not to say hard to place on paper, website, signs et.c.

Maybe all the kids and the equipment could be added as separate items, afterwards?

Remember that you have time to continue discussion/refinement with the one you rank as #1 after the contest is ended, and before you decide the winner (judging period).

An update:

1. Training vest on the boy
2. Supporting leg rods on the girl (I suspect that equipment is as common as the wheelchair)
Notice that she also supports herself against your company name... ;-) ...and the boy's gesture shows:
-"Hey, look Mom! I can walk! Come hug me!"
3. New lighter colours on clothes.
4. New fresh vibrant colours on the blocks
5. And NO Tounge. :-)
6. And as always; I think it is important to keep a logo tight and balanced. Lettering and slogans scattered all over the place gives a very erratic and restless impression. And it will be hard to adjust to the surroundings, like on stationary or business card. Remember you've been on TV too. That can happen again (hopefully), and a clear concise logo that really sticks with the viewer is important.

Hope you like it.

I also believe that ethnic diversification could be considered a welcome element in this logo, since this kind of rehab is not just only for one group of children.

This way to present a service/product, is a common approach in most/many public relation communications/artwork when the message is directed towards all, and not just a single demographic group.

Just some thoughts...

Alternative font on name. More airy and slightly higher to balance the size of the blocks.

A modern font that is a little tighter, still high but with more emphasize on the name.
