#2: It's a hiking club, so we need to represent that somehow. The road looks too much like a road versus a hiking trail. Showing hikers, backpacks, snowshoes, etc in there as well might be nice.

#4: modify the slogan: "forging friendships through hiking and nature"

#2: The club's near a lake, so perhaps incorporate the lake into the depiction.

Comments from a member: I like the format and colors of # 4 (as with Kathy, don’t care for the bush), and the more rounded mountains plus hiker/backpacker silhouette on #5. Maybe if we changed the “Thendara Mountain Club” to just TMC in #4 (and put “thendaramountainclub.org” in smaller font wrapped around the circle like the motto above it would also allow them to put a body of water on the bottom with a silhouette of a canoe or a kayak? Maybe incorporate the “TMC” into body of lodge to give more room for graphic?

#10: one member comments: "I like the simplicity of #10".

#12 is nice. Perhaps a bit too cartoony. Bring more realism to the image and font, less balloonishness. Change the shape of the surrounding lines.

#14 Dig all the elements in the logo, perhaps make it a more cohesive shape around the perimeter (like a circle, square etc...)

What if #16 and #17 were combined, so #16 said TMC on the cabin and had a backpacker by the shore, instead of the kayak? Or with a kayak?

#31: President has requested the name "THENDARA" be large name and "Mountain Club" be together in smaller font. Instead of "Thendara Mountain" being together.

#14: Lots of positive feedback on this designers work. All the elements of the club are included. Just concerned it looks too much like a water park. It's a hiking club that happens to be on a lake.

#30: Board member states:
I also love the clean simplicity of # 30 (and
fewer colors = cheaper printing too) ... if the peaks can be rounded it
might be my favorite.
(He is referring to the facts that the mountains in Harriman state park don't exceed 1280 feet)

#31: Board member states:

I kind of like where #31 is going although think that is we could make the
water flatter and have the hiker look like he/she is on the land as opposed
to the water like Brian mentioned I think it would look better. And I
"still" think that rounded mt tops and outlines of deciduous trees would be
a better depiction of Harriman.

The President says: I still like #12 best if they can round the mountains or make them look more like the mountains in 9.

#31: The president also commented:
I also like # 31, I like the hiker but can they make the lodge brown and the sky blue, mountains green? the TMC on the lodge is over kill, I would prefer "Thendara" on the first line and mountain club on the second line (much smaller).

President says:
I prefer 43 over 44. I don't like the blue under the name, prefer it green.
Could we have the dark logo with the green under the name?

President says:

I also like the new mountains in 48 but prefer the colors and bushes in 40. I like this one because it is simple and gets the point across but I would still like to see a hiker in it.
