Color Preferences
I like blues, greens but do not object to any color --other than pink
I am the "girl" in HR, but please do not focus in on the "girl" too much and make the logo too sexy or unprofessional (sorry to have to call that out, but you'd be surprised at what logo concepts people have sent back to me :) ) I am a "girl" but I focus on HR and business

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Hello. I'm need help with created a logo to be used on my blog/webpage. I am an HR(human resource) professional and blog and tweet as "The Girl in HR" and I'd like an image/graphic (or stylized text) to represent that.
Looking for something young, fresh, fun, and vibrant -- yet professional and crisp (too many things? :) )
I think I like blues and greens, but really not too committed to any color themes.
Just to give you an idea about "me" and The Girl in HR here is the current blog address: http://thegirlinhr.wordpress.com/ and here is the twitter https://twitter.com/thegirlinhr I don't have an official tagline, but "making the HR connection" is often tied into to my posts and is starting to become a tagline -- and I wouldn't mind it featured in the design -- otherwise it might help you inspire a design
As far as concepts go -- I'd like the logo to convey: trust, openness, connectedness. I did have someone work on a logo earlier this week and it was *really* pink and focused on the "girl" -- it was too sexy and mysterious for what I'm trying to create.
Maybe its something as simple and straightforward as a woman silhouette leaning up against some stylized text of The Girl in HR with something in her hand and the "making the HR connection" below it? Or maybe there is a way a way to feature a "girl" connecting or bringing things together with The Girl in HR below/beside it. I'm open to the concept of what the girl looks like, but just ask that its brand appropriate -- for an HR professional not like a fashion or clothing blog
I also am not tied to the idea of featuring an image or representation of a girl or woman.
I don't have any size requirements, but I'd like to be able to use this on blog -- so to create a "badge" to connect with other bloggers -- and maybe on my blog's Fb page or as a Twitter image (header, profile image for example)
Thanks and let me know if there is any other information that I can provide to help you design a concept.
